Yeah, all we've done is say why it won't come to Xbox, not that we don't want it to. People really shouldn't get their hopes up for an Xbox version because it isn't happening.

I agree. There's nothing gross there. The problem with OG Tifa was just how huge her tits were.
Honestly, AC Tifa didn't look much like her IMO.

yea and lets make cloud's sword smaller because he definitely couldnt swing the one he is using. And Aeris wears a dress, cant have that. and lets give barret his hand back because theres no way that gun grafted onto his wrist can actually be fired. Better get rid of vincent's cape too, you can trip on that

Cloud's sword is dumb, but it's cool dumb, same goes for most of what you said, except Aerith who isn't a fighter. Tifa's battle skirt is just dumb, her AC outfit is perfect for the fighter she is.

No one is saying change everything. The original Tifa design was grossly sexualized and it would be even more obvious now that the character models have more than 5 polygons.
There's room for artistic freedom at the expense of logic and practicality, but not when it diminishes a character in the way that costume detracts from Tifa as a person

It's a crop top with huge boobs and a mini skirt.
Even just making it a full tank with shorts would make the design vastly better.

Aerith who wears the more demur clothing is the most outspoken and full of personality.
Tifa with the flashy outfit is more reserved and shy. I think it was meant to be that way for a reason.

Shorts or pants would be better than a skirt (hard to see, is that really a skirt?), obviously. The suspenders look a bit off, and uncomfortable. But the rest is good. And I'm especially surprised by the shape of her shirt, where the original design suffered from this crap:

The only thing I'd change is maybe switch the skirt to some kind of shorts or something. Don't get me wrong, I like Tifa's skirt (i'm a guy who likes good looking girls, sue me) but I can see that being frowned upon in 2017.
Alternatively, FF7R could benefit from having multiple costume options for characters. Choose between Classic, Advent, or "Remaster" looks

All they really need to do in my opinion is just change the skirt to shorts, hell maybe give her bike shorts under her skirt, it keeps the original design intact but makes it fit what she's doing better.

Yep. I understand the love for the original designs, they are iconic. But it's almost certain there will be changes made, and in some cases they are warranted

It's been ages since I played FF7, but I honestly remembered her as wearing shorts, and not a skirt. I looked up the original design and sure enough it's a skirt. lol, that is indeed stupid, she's supposed to be a martial artist.
The design above at least improves on the shirt. The way it fits actually looks like a shirt worn by a woman with a large chest instead of having boob socks. But yeah, come on, give her shorts. That's not even "censorship" since shorts are still sexy! Win-win.

I like the skirt more than shorts
I dont think designs needs justified, but she works as a waitress in a bar and is thrust straight from work into the thick of things. Wearing a skirt is in no way weird.
