I would keep and start, unless you have more patience. Chizuru is good damage dealer. Vaan will be useful later.
I really don't mind rerolling over and over.. honestly I'm grinding on Chain of Memories while I do this too.
I just don't know if I should stick with White Knight Noel or keep going for a DPS.

-Golbez 4*
-Bartz 4*
-Santa Roselia 4*
Ive never had a 5* roll and all of my peeps started as 3/4*. Decent party to keep building with?

He's the best tank in the game right now but I'd re-roll if you're willing. The one's you're shooting for are what people listed already: Noctis, Luneth, Lightning, Gilgamesh. DPS rules this game so getting a great DPS is top priority. If you lose your sanity pulling for a 5* base, Refia (best healer) and either Chizuru or Cloud of Darkness would be a nice start too.
Yeah you should be fine continuing with that. ExDeath is the best mage right now, CoD a good DPS if you get her a good mace and awesome utility that will be handy for a number of trials and events, Santa Roselia a real nice healer and Bartz is strong at 6*.
Guys, rerolling for a 5* dps is going to take forever. When there was one on the banner, sure, but getting Greg, Noctis, Light, or Luneth has like a .1% chance of happening right now. Don't burn mstevens out before they even start.
Remember that person who was in here a week or two ago and couldn't pull Noctis on his own banner after a freaking week of rerolling and then gave up? Get some decent 4* base(s) and call it good I say. You can build a team off of that and avoid hating the game that way.

For now it's kind of a fun "for science" experiment. If I start getting burnt out, I'll just roll with a good party when it comes up. Like I said, I'm playing one handed while I grind in another RPG, so it's not too annoying yet.
So far - 95 rolls, one 5 star (WKN).

I agree. This is why I never rerolled. I've managed to get most of the tip units except Noctis and Lightning and a few others. Glad I didn't ever reroll because I would have lost a lot of progress at the time. Now I'm ready to awaken a bunch of 5*. I'll save my tickets and lapis for the next premio banner.
I still wish I would have got Noctis...Some of you are so damn lucky!

Firaga no, I don't think so but Ring of Lucii should be fine because it's in her equip slot. Her damage with the spells will be bad because of her magic stat though.

Oh I agree with you and he was warned but he's willing to go for it.
Oops, forgot for magic the unit has to have an affinity for a certain type of magic so she probably doesn't have the black magic level to use Firaga but the ring, yes. Better used on a black mage though.

Also, can anyone offer some team comp advice? Right now I'm using 6* CoD, 6* Cecil, 6* Refia, 6* ExDeath, and 5* Agrias. I got my Chizuru to 6* and I'm wondering if I should replace CoD with her? Alternatively I was thinking of replacing Cecil with her for stuff like story content or easy things where I don't need a tank. I also somehow ended up with 4 ExDeaths, so would it be worthwhile to try and eventually level all of them for things where mages are good? F2P and no base 5*'s. Thanks!

edit: Wait.. I lied. The last blue crystal turned gold, then rainbow. Got my boy Gaffgarion lol. Not a bad pull in general.. Cloud of Darkness rank 3, and Santa Healer Lady rank 4. Still going to reroll.

Considering the suspected "next banner" is Dark Fina, it may actually behoove you to wait. Or, you could do the Nox reroll script with multiple instances on your computer. And as much as we're hyping base 5* (especially Noctis), if you somehow magically rolled a team of Refia, Cecil, Exdeath, CoD, Chizuru ... well, that ain't bad either.
I guess my ballpark, since you're willing to reroll as much as it takes, is one 5* base + another 6* capable unit -- or like, 3-4 6* capable units.
Oh, since we haven't explained it: think of it as "starting level" and "final level." Bartz, for instance, is a 3* base, meaning his lowest level is 3. But he can be promoted to 6. Your Gaffgarion was a "troll rainbow," meaning that his lowest level is 4, but you acquired him at a 5.
Troll rainbows are terrible.

That team's pretty damn solid. You already got the best tank and the best healer. Agrias is likely the weakest part of that group. I might swap her out for Chiz unless you're fighting a tough boss that needs the full break. For easier content you can pretty much do what you want. Drop Refia for Chiz and have Cecil heal and tank, or drop Cecil for her and out-damage everything with Refia's Embolden. A team of ExDeath's can be pretty great, and tends to be useful for events where you can chain one element and devastate everything. If you don't have someone else to work on then yeah it's worth leveling a 2nd, 3rd or even 4th ExDeath.
Thanks! I pretty much have Agrias there for full break and she replaced my Vaan. I finally got lucky enough with pulls that I'm at the point where my strategy is no longer "Hope for better pulls and replace" so now I have to actually put thought behind how I want to advance lol. Guess it's time to work on TM's and such.
I think... our community just gained a monster.

No starting with gutter trash isn't fun.
I looked at Seven's skill and it'll definitely be her Global exclusive ones in attempt to make her more interesting (because of this : Elemental Whip 180% ST 1 Hit Magic Attack & ST 3 Turn -50% Fire/Ice/Thunder Resist), with some other Type 0 part 1.
At least Gumi know this banner wasn't attractive/buff it because we're getting that event super late.
I'm looking at the next good 4* units and looks like I'll have to wait Setzer/Rikku/Ashe/Rasler, if I pull before it would be for TMs.

Yeah, that's definitely reminiscent of something from BD's soundtrack.
You don't need 5* base. But you do need good damage dealers. Chiz, Firion, Garland are all good units that are easier to attain. ExDeath, and Arc are good mages
A FB unit would be nice, but not essential. Rain will fill that role shortly. A good tank is essential later, but not at the start.
A good healer is nice as well. That is why you should look at the unit rankings when starting out. An AoE LB is also very nice

Garland in the beginning is good. Used him for a long time. But now he's outclassed by so many others, you'd probably replace him with someone else along the way.

The fakes are awful. They need to change the crystals now. >< Also... that Shadow. Still a pain in the ass I see.

I drew him as a rainbow crystal that started as a blue, but someone mentioned earlier that if it starts as a blue or gold it's like ranking up a base 3 star instead of starting at 5 or something stat wise.

The bolded are quite good.
Start with Noctis, Agrias, Rosa. The other 2 doesn't really matter.
Btw, Noctis is a real and legit 5* base, not a fake and can't be pulled from a blue crystal. The reason you pulled a Blue is Gumi's way of a positively trolling us.
That's entirely incorrect, please please please keep that roll! No difference whether he pops out of a blue>gold>rainbow or just rainbow at all. Noctis is the wonder boy, jack of all trades master of all of them too.
Yeah, Noctis is great, keep him for sure. Then you wanna be on the lookout for rate up's on Zidane or Gilgamesh for their Trust Master Rewards, Gilgamesh's Genji Glove is slightly better than Zidane's Dual Wield as it gives the Dual Wield ability just like Zidane but since it's equipment and not an ability is also increases ATK. But really, Dual Wield from the easier to get Zidane is fantastic too.
Then a tier down from that I'd be looking for Chizuru and Miyuki for their TMs and Cecil. Though really Noctis will take you far because he can equip and get bonuses for almost anything so almost whatever good weapon you get he can benefit from.

SO now finally time to play the game. I think I understand most of the basics. I did notice that there isn't any gear dropping.. Should I be regularly buying and crafting gear for my 5 guys?
I also don't really understand enhancing and awakening yet. I'm assuming enhancing is just leveling/passing on skills and awakening is bumping up to the next star rank? Is there anything I should be careful about when doing those? Don't want to mess up Noctis.

Oh, shit. Um. I'm so sorry if I gave you the wrong impression. I'm SO GLAD you didn't reroll. Noctis is the BEST character in the entire game, basically.
So, ignore the animations: they don't matter at all. My own Noctis was a blue -> gold -> rainbow. It only matters what you actually get.
And your team is positively set. Noct is incredible. Agrias, especially when 6* (later on), will be beastly. Rosa's good enough. Rydia can be serviceable for now. But, you've got Noct. You're fine.
Enhancing is fusing units to increase exp or stats with magic pots, and you're right about awakening.
At first it's fine to buy equips from the shops, you should try doing events when you feel like it (or get carried by a strong friend) then when you'll be high level you can try trials for better stuff.

Oh and don't forget to change your nickname/comment from home screen -> menu -> player info.
