Spent 10k lapis I was saving up on the banner 4 Lukas and my first 5 ever. Turn out to be Sazh :l . Really wish I had know about rerolling when I started during the Lune/Refia banner having trash attackers, COD LOL, and having to rely on friends to do any difficult content just stops the fun.

Guess back to saving up and trying again next time.

Kinda off topic, but...

Anyone know why emulators run like dog doodoo on my laptop? It's a Surface Book, it should have enough juice. Even my wife's $500 computer from nine years ago runs emulators better.

I mean, I can play pretty intense games on this thing at a moderate resolution, but every emulator? TOO MUCH!

Seriously, save for Tidus + Rikku banner. Absolutely nothing else will be worth it if you are short on lapis.

Why would you do this? This banner is terribad.

And Cod is really good. Not top tier anymore, but still a staple on my team.

Ugh.. full energy and I nothing to spend it on other than TM farming(and I'm at work so I'm not gonna do it manually). Well I have some areas and trials I can reclear for 10 lapis here and there but that's just crap. Hopefully they introduce something that keeps people like me going for a while otherwise I'll start loosing more and more interest.

They realky should out in an option to run dungeons (*) times. I'd spend the energy/lapis to do it(sorta like magic rush if any of you have played it). Currently the game feels more like TMfarmville than anything else. At least this way makes it quicker.

Literally one day from me questioning the spend of 2000 lapis for this bundle, I am strongly considering it for the 20 calamity gems alone. I have 17 and need 30 to awaken both Chizuru and Mercedes. But I also have like 40 Gigantaurs already taking up my roster space and am kinda frozen.

I could awaken Mercedes first and clear out the gigantaurs, I guess. But when do I get to awaken Chizuruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu :(:(:(:(:)((((((((

Because I have 0 mages I have a rydia which is my only mage and just pulled a kyrile which is pretty meh other than dualcast. No ex death means no good magic damage. Cod maybe good when you get a weapon but +30 mace is not cutting it on any trial or elite.

^ I will never sweat someone pulling banners for no reason when you just don't have the horses to compete in the upper tiers or you don't have ONE elite unit. I 100% get that need -- what surprised me is that the itch to pull mostly does go away once you have a good top unit.

Agreed. CoD helped me hold my own for a couple months here. Omniveil alone is one of the best abilities in the game.

Unfortunately (?) I couldn't get her TM'd up before I got both Noctis and Chizuru and now she's largely off my go-to story/arena team.

Just pulled my first ever 5* banner unit...Dark Fina from my pool of summon tickets from the frosty event. Now im rocking: cod, dark fina, chizuru, exdeath, Santa roselia all 5* or above.

What a morning!

Switch them for cloud of darkness and bartz.

When rain gets his 6 star Evolution switch bartz for him

Basically you should swap out any unit that doesn't give you a TM more or less ASAP. Sure Rain and Lasswell eventually become great but that early TM points you'll lose on them is no joke.

My Gilgamesh was sitting a 98.9% when I started this morning. After various daily quests and 47 Earth Temple runs, he's now at... 98.9%

I've never had a string of luck that bad while TM farming.

So close, yet so far.

Yeah man I don't get it lol. Other than Lightning taking me like 150 pulls or some shit everything else I have got them pretty fast and minimal Lapis/Tix. Of course other mobile games I play suffer from my luck here and give me hot garbage.

This definetly is true. It's actually changed the whole dynamic of the game for me. It's more relaxed now, and just about clearing content and gearing my team up.

It's also nice being able to go into a banner without feeling needy for a unit, and getting that wave of desperation when you don't get it.

I am in the same situation...i'm debating right now if I should even finish Locke's TM since I was only finishing it up for CoD. I'm around 25% so far for Rising Sun between 3 units.

Each unit except the first is worth its TM% +5%

SO
[ ] Unit #1%
[ ] Unit #2% +5%
[ ] Unit #3% +5%
[ ] Unit #4% +5%
---------------------------
Total +15%

(100% - 15% = 85%. Divide that by 4 and you get 21.5%. But you'll find it's not that easy because they'll go up at different rates. Just add it up in your head once they all get above 19ish)

2 dual casts, trust me, you want two.

Each fusion add 5% automatically and what ever else the fodder units current TM % is.

Get one to 50, the other to 45% and that gets you 100%

This is the truth. I have almost all of the 5* bases and I keep CoD in every single party I use. Esuna-ga, Omniveil, natural resists, good offense, c'mon now. Noctis and CoD are pretty much the two most versatile units we have in the game right now.

I'm highly considering throwing another Zidane into the TM pile early just to get her dual wielding like the rest of my good units, especially now that I have Thorned Mace and Lunar Pestle.

That definitely is a lot of pulls for lightning haha, forgot about that. Still pretty awesome though, happy for you!

Been committing a lot of my energy to TM farming, have Rising sun at 80%ish and my second DW is like 65% or so? I gave my only DW to Chizuru (from CoD) because my second weapon for CoD is some +35ish boomerang, compared to Murasame for Chiz (+65 I think). Will be nice to have both of them with DW. Also have 2 Gaffgarions that I haven't started on.

Do you guys think its worth starting a 3rd DW or should Miyuki be next? Current party is Refia, Cecil, CoD, Chiz, Exdeath. If I had to sub in another physical it would probably be Bartz, don't really have anyone else that I can think of.

Good news is I want nothing until Orlandu now other than Cinque from FF Type 0 but she is a 3* base so hopefully she drops like Elle. So the hoarding can begin anew. I really need to get the story Lapis that should be another 15k I still haven't taken care of.

My luneth made a incredible jump today. After 80 runs he made 0.1 % progress. I feel you.

And i don't know why but my miyuki makes much less progress than my chizu...even though they startet at the same time. Chizu is now 5 percent ahead.

I'm done chasing Dark Fina. Apparently, I haven't been naughty enough to be punished by her. I have everything on the banner at this point but here, and there's no point to throw tickets away after a miracle pull that's highly unlikely to occur.

Ugh. I get the thought behind that but I have so many other TMs I'd like to get started on. Not to mention having to manually grind it out makes it take foorrrreeeevvvveeerrrrr.

I'll explain. I brute forced the hell out of Finna elite with my own Noctis, Cecil, Refia, Elza, and Lightning. I got her down to 5% in the first round. She proceeded to nuke my ass into oblivion, killing pretty much everyone but Cecil and Refia who barely survived. I had to double raise my own Noctis and friend Noctis. Cecil used Curaja. Dark Fina then confused my noctis who destroyed himself lol, leaving friend noctis behind. Somewhere in this fuck up if Cecil had dual cast things could have worked out easier. My goal for my own Cecil is to give him Dual Cast and Esuna, turn him into psuedo healer and use Tilith 6* or Refia until Tilith. This is just personal opinion, I feel Dual Cast is just one materia you should have two of if you can.

I do this as well. Refia with DC and Cecil with DC/Esuna it works wonders. If you have a fight that you don't need Esuna throw a HP increase materia on there for that. You almost can't die with this set up at least not yet.
