I don't. But then again, only pulling 1/2 dailies. She'll be there. No need to rush it. Even contemplating stopping 1/2 dailies to be fair. Rainbow pulls on those are rare.
1/2 priced dailies on main and alt as well as the free pull on JP all yielded Golds today. Main got Goken, Alt got (another) Victoria, and JP got some shield person. Can't remember name right now. x_x

Well tbh this actually (as silly as it is) relieved me. I know being salty etc. is natural, i know the psychological aspect of remembering negative memorys longer than postive, which results in the typical "I have no luck sentence" cause the human mind dig out these first and blend out the positive memorys...but god damn i hate the new "see what your friends pulled" feature haha. Makes me envy while being happy someone from Gaf got lucky.
On a side note. Do jpn player have a spot for me on their fl? I'm only rank 14 and have no gear, used the account only for pulling but i guess i should start playing a bit more since. Actually deleted a few gacha games. Only BE gives me the joy of a real game.

Ok, So after playing for about 2 hours against Malboro, I just gotta vent.
I went with Setzer, Rikku, Ace, 2B, A2, and a friends Ayaka. I have a lot of TMs, everyones decked out with what I need to complete it, and yet ITS STILL THE STUPIDEST RNG FILLED BULLSHIT I THINK IVE EVER TRIED IN ANY RPG. I can't stand being fine one minute then characters die twice in one attack the next thus negating the auto revive. Ayaka helps a lot, being able to full heal and put an auto revive on someone, but it just isn't enough and I still get wiped on occasion. Setzer can bring down the bosses HP SUBSTANTIALLY one turn , but of course what do I expect using a gambling move, I go 10 turns in a row without dropping the bosses hp by a couple %. The glitch to stop the devour form happening isn't working anymore so you can't close the app to cheat it. Only thing its useful for is to make it devour a different target. I'm so fucking blown away that I have every 5* unit I can need , all these TMs farmed , everything I can possibly get and this battle is pure frustration. The strategy used doesnt work when on a whim I SUDDENLY GET KILLED. Unless there's something I'm clearly missing, like the mini malboroos health thresholds murdering me, I 'm at a loss for how to complete this. I'd love to see a percentage of users that have completed this thing, and I wonder if gumi will ever nerf it. The rewards arent event worth this headache. Its mind numbing. I feel like to really accomplish this battle you need to kill the mini malboros much quicker, but even with debuffs, fire weapons, 1000 attack characters I can't kill them fast enough. SO what now, wait a year until we have more powerful units? At that point the rewards are even more underwhleming. Will Gumi ever NERF this fucking thing? I'm so fucking mad right now and I dont even know exactly why. I think its just unfair, and I wish I didnt waste my day on it. Never again until something changes.

This always happens when a major unit comes out. Trust me, more than half of GAF probably doesn't have her unless they whale.
I pulled 40 times and I haven't even gotten a single Silvia which is what I really want.
could anyone explain to me how i equip my ''Defense'' line of units before going in the sheratan fight?
I can equip the offense ones just fine but when I try to equip any unit in the defense line the equip button is grayed out.

I also force closed a lot because RNG for that fight is 100% straight up bullshit.
They absolutely over optimized when it came to that trial and its borderline impossible for most players.

Friend request sent. Usually run Tidus as lead right now, but using CG Sakura for event. I'm done with event but figure everyone else might still like to use her.
Personally went with dual wield Dark and Light weapons and it worked.
Just saw this in the MC thread.
If this is true, does it mean global players will be treated better? (Such as with updates?)

You could use a friend DKC, he is loaded with dark attacks. Its how I did it (well I have my own but still)
Remember you have to do Dark AND light attacks. Try and do them the same turn.
It means they need to treat JP even better because of the competition.

Thats why October returns will be so important to their metrics. September they will get losses on due to the hack and just blame that.

I just completed the sorry myself, but I didn't get the 100% trust moogle sent to my inbox. Can you confirm if you got one right away? I'm wondering if it's like those weekly or monthly rewards which take some time to arrive... :-/

Thats a good tip however when my Rikku would get eaten I just closed the app and reloaded so devour would hit someone else. I also have enough jacks TM and prodigy googles to get Rikkus LB up virtually every turn. If I were to try it again, I'm actually thinking of getting rid of Setzer for a third damage dealer. I just can't take rng on top of rng. It drives me insane.

Check your units. Mine was just in my units amongst the rest (sort by TM level)

It's a mission reward, so it'll be in your unit list automatically.
Also, be advised that the moogle doesn't look any different from the regular 10% ones. You have to check the TM values to identify which one it is (although it'll be the first one listed if you sort).

I didn't go super hard, because I'm trying to save as much as I can. Hivemind and insane luck got to me thought, so I pulled with 15 tickets + 1 multi. No Ayaka, but I did get 2 Silvia, 1 Kamui and an off-banner rainbow (Rem). Fire Katana will be universally useful and 1 Silvia can be used for T.Terra and the other for Rem, I suppose.

Hello family, allow my sacrifice to stave off any temptation you may have to pull unless like me, you have nothing else coming out you want this year.
I was just under 90k lapis so did 17 10+1 pulls.....Zero Rainbows
I used 198 3* tickets......1 Rainbow in all that. It was a Luneth.
My two daily half offs were garbage and I did one 500 lapis yolo pull with my excess before realizing I should save for dailies each day but I have over 850 lapis again so I should be able to do multiple more if I keep doing dailies and maybe knock out some more rookie trophies. That yolo was garbage too.
So I should think my sacrifice an excellent deterrent and temptation killer for those of you trying to resist. This is why we say don't chase rainbows.
Will I rage quit after this disgusting nonsense? Nope, I'm deeply offended by the principle of how terrible their rates are but I have the understanding any of us veterans have when calm, that I don't "need" Ayaka and Refia will serve me just fine for now. There is nothing I care about coming out this year if they stick to the leaks and even if they don't, I doubt there's anything they'd come out with I'd care about not named FFVIII. With my discipline that is Kouriozan tier (You're the lone massive stasher now, my friend!), I'll easily build up another huge stash for when something I really want comes out next year. Hell, if I get CG Fina, I won't even miss Ayaka, all the more reason to keep the chin up.
Now as to what I did get from all these pulls, besides a bunch of all the banner units (had enough of the samurai to learn his TM without even farming and enough Sylvia's to do the same but decided to keep multiple of her) I obtained some more Leon's, one of which will be great for Luneth later, a couple Camilles of whom I really wanted one for Tidus, three of the Veritas of which Earth has a great TM and Heavens will be good for Fohlen when I do 10 man raids, and two Dechs's is awesome. I got two Werwei's which are great TM fodder too and a number of other useful TMs. So the new game plan to cheer myself up:
I didn't realize Aqua Blade provided dual wield, that's amazing. I used one 100% trust moogle on Camille and the other on Veritas of the Earth. What this allowed me to do was take Great Sword Mastery, Apocalypse, and Dual Wield off of Tidus and still bump his ATK up from 913 to 937 despite losing GS Mastery. I also happened to finish Sazh's TM so 105% Evasion Noctis time! After swapping Noctis equipment around for perfect evasion, I was then able to put Genji Blade, Kitana Mastery, and GS Mastery on Luneth. Also, a Bracer and Champion belt after taking them off of Noctis. I then calculated if I could afford to max out Luneth AND Tidus' enhancements and realized it was damn close so I went ahead and enhanced Luneth. Without even having a great helm or body armor yet, Luneth has allowed me to enter the 1k damage club! Wooooo! I now have my third DPS and so kicked Rikku to the curb, she'll be used for specific trials.
Now with two Dech's and Werweis and a Leon to farm, all three of my DPS guys can get even stronger and I also managed to get a couple more Hayates so if I get one of those and then farm someone with an ATK heavy armor, I can bump Luneth further. Not to mention, Luneth has Lakshmi at the moment since I never maxed out Diablos and with Bahamut on the horizon, I'm saving for him. Once he hits, I can give Luneth one of the top three DPS espers to boost him even further Gumi may have fucked me with Ayaka, but my team became much stronger anyway! Mwahahahaha I will still do daily half offs and use any tickets we get for desperate attempts at Ayaka probably but once her banner isn't featured, it's back to ultra hoard mode!
Oh, I also didn't use any of my guaranteed 4* or higher tickets, 10+1 tickets, or any EX tickets including the 4* guaranteed or highers. All those will be saved for the rainbow increase. Ayaka didn't take quite everything from me ;p

But also happen to me. My last rainbow is from July and since then i have do a combined 150+ pull.
RNG can be a dick, especially when seeing someone just keep pulling rainbow.
That said, i won't use lapis for now since in JP they start giving guaranteed on-banner 5* if you multi pull 5 times using lapis

They've only done it for Sephiroth so far. There has been guaranteed 5-star banners once or twice before I think? It's been awhile but I recall one at some point last year.

You have a good head on your shoulders to still be in good spirits after that. If I saved for what was probably 7-8 MONTHS (maybe more?) for that many tickets and lapis, and not getting that rainbow unit,(or any for that matter), I'd be pissed. Ridiculous.

There is nothing I care about coming out this year if they stick to the leaks and even if they don't, I doubt there's anything they'd come out with I'd care about not named FFVIII. With my discipline that is Kouriozan tier (You're the lone massive stasher now, my friend!), I'll easily build up another huge stash for when something I really want comes out next year. Hell, if I get CG Fina, I won't even miss Ayaka, all the more reason to keep the chin up.
Now as to what I did get from all these pulls, besides a bunch of all the banner units (had enough of the samurai to learn his TM without even farming and enough Sylvia's to do the same but decided to keep multiple of her) I obtained some more Leon's, one of which will be great for Luneth later, a couple Camilles of whom I really wanted one for Tidus, three of the Veritas of which Earth has a great TM and Heavens will be good for Fohlen when I do 10 man raids, and two Dechs's is awesome. I got two Werwei's which are great TM fodder too and a number of other useful TMs. So the new game plan to cheer myself up:
I didn't realize Aqua Blade provided dual wield, that's amazing. I used one 100% trust moogle on Camille and the other on Veritas of the Earth. What this allowed me to do was take Great Sword Mastery, Apocalypse, and Dual Wield off of Tidus and still bump his ATK up from 913 to 937 despite losing GS Mastery. I also happened to finish Sazh's TM so 105% Evasion Noctis time! After swapping Noctis equipment around for perfect evasion, I was then able to put Genji Blade, Kitana Mastery, and GS Mastery on Luneth. Also, a Bracer and Champion belt after taking them off of Noctis. I then calculated if I could afford to max out Luneth AND Tidus' enhancements and realized it was damn close so I went ahead and enhanced Luneth. Without even having a great helm or body armor yet, Luneth has allowed me to enter the 1k damage club! Wooooo! I now have my third DPS and so kicked Rikku to the curb, she'll be used for specific trials.
Now with two Dech's and Werweis and a Leon to farm, all three of my DPS guys can get even stronger and I also managed to get a couple more Hayates so if I get one of those and then farm someone with an ATK heavy armor, I can bump Luneth further. Not to mention, Luneth has Lakshmi at the moment since I never maxed out Diablos and with Bahamut on the horizon, I'm saving for him. Once he hits, I can give Luneth one of the top three DPS espers to boost him even further
Oh, I also didn't use any of my guaranteed 4* or higher tickets, 10+1 tickets, or any EX tickets including the 4* guaranteed or highers. All those will be saved for the rainbow increase. Ayaka didn't take quite everything from me ;p

Sorry about those pulls Squall, just sounds awful. Really wish this game had some kind of pity timer so things like this wouldn't happen.

Thanks for the condolences, fam. I really hope my experience spares a number of you from from pain and wasting money. I know it helps to see the negative experiences, when you just see nothing but posts from those that got the treasured unit, you think they are dropping like free candy so it's important for thus of us that get screwed over to post our experience to remind everyone that Mistress RNG is controlling things and she doesn't bless us all.
To answer your question fellow Squall, I have Tidus as my chainer. I realize that I don't have a good dps setup with Noctis and Luneth because they are both finishers and Noctis' timing doesn't mesh with anyone. Hopefully heavy hits will see me through until I can get an upgrade from Luneth and Tidus will be the bees knees when he gets his enhancements. Noctis will improve soon with his buffs and I especially look forward to the ring being buffed, but I hope my team will be able to handle most content for now and they should. I'm curious to see how beneficial it is to have perfect evasion Noctis for regular story and trial stuff (besides bosses that are all about magic). I guess I'll join the super annoying Arena club with him now haha
Just a heads up, I'll be sharing my perfect evasion Noctis at times for my cousin to beat the Gilgamesh and Dark Esper trials. I'll be back to my dps units when he isn't doing that. Would people prefer a 937 Tidus? Or a 1k+ Luneth? I feel like people would pass despite his amage just because he's Luneth haha
What I really need to do is look up good strategies for Aegion. Can a Tidus-Noctis-WoL-Refia-Rikku team beat him? I could swap one of those units out for Luneth now too. Maybe his damage output would be more useful than Noctis or would Noctis' evasion and mana battery prove more useful?

A little before Sephiroth, JP had type banners with a step up. So one had a pool of magic attackers, first multi gave you a 10% 5* ticket, second multi gave a moogle and third multi gave a guaranteed 5*. I think there was one each for support/magic/physical.
The limited pool made it a nice time to reroll, I managed to start with Sakura/Lid. Clearly it was meant as a lapis bait before Sephiroth though.

I'm planning on saving up at least 25000 lapis for that sephiroth banner. Assuming they give it to global. Anytime I can get guaranteed rainbows I'll want to pull, but I vowed never to put more money into the game so I'm sticking to that plan. Besides, the only other character I've seen in Japan that I would really really want is Basch. From what I've seen he's like the Tank version of what Ayaka is to the other healers.
First off, my condolences. At least you saw the good that came of it. What 6th are you looking for btw? I know I took a single tank style (Noctis, with a Rem friend), and while useless in the first half, he was invaluable in the last half, for that physical evasion goodness... and my team only had to deal with the magical aoe/WD. Not sure if Tidus triggers the water aspect which can make him go haywire so to speak, but probably does.

So next event information is up. The new 5-star is
and seems they might be quite powerful. They have a CG movie for LB too! The TMR sounds like it might be nuts.. There'll be a step up banner like the Sephiroth one as well. The 4-stars are another Bard and a DPS that uses an old school cannon, lol. 3-star unit has a 120 damage Lightning gun that's 1H too.
Everyone is also getting 10000 Lapis for logging in. Accept period is 10 days starting 10/10 so might be a good time to start an account if anyone is interested.
Nyx, Vargas, Maxwell, Tilith, Crow, Glauca, Gouken, and Silvia are getting Ability Enhancements.
Royal Crown is the next 12 Equipment trial. 50 MAG, 32 SPR, 16 DEF, Null Confusion and increases effective rate of Burst Stones. Trial also has a 40% DEF + regen ability.
