Not going to lie, I was swayed to like 60% yesterday.
I was referring to the TM. As most of his attacks are physical it makes sense to take it. And as far as I know JP didn't have that when the robot first came out(?) so that's something we have going for us.
Didn't know it stacked with regular mitigation though. That's good information.

I was one of the poster that's very sure we'll get the +2. My reason was because they will be releasing Aigaion soon, which mostly needs a buffed singer to be beaten. So a half-assed singer doesn't make any sense.
I was wrong and you're right. They will delay Ramza as long as they can, at least until Roy's release.
And this less desirable banner is even less desirable now.
Yes, you should save and go all out for Nier banner. Not only are the units good, they're limited as well.
Dark Veritas is good, but he might come with Fire Veritas like JP, which means double 5* banner.

I posted this the other day but Sin V did it without Ramza and without a tank. Obviously they had units we don't currently have but Ramza isn't required, just makes your life a lot easier I guess.
But yeah this banner is not for you or I. It's for people who don't have Ramza yet imo. She is the next best thing, and in some team comps a better option, so this is their best chance to get a singer.
I have 0 Ramza and only thing I pull from the banner are the daily free pulls.

Right, let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater regarding this banner. Lunera is still one of the three bards. She's a great unit after enhancements. She's also the only one of them who does any meaningful damage, and if I'm reading her stats right, it's a fucking lot of it. You know how all that caster gear has MAG and SPR on it? I wonder if a MAG caster who doubles as a bard would benefit from that. Hmm. Hmmmmmmmm.
There's no particular reason to believe Ramza is coming back on a banner any time soon. If you don't have a bard but you do have some spare resources and you want to -
sigh - "future-proof" your team, let's be real for a second: a bard is going to be a safer bet than any of the units (though maybe not TMs!) on the Nier banner. Or the FFT3 banner. Or et cetera.
No, if you have Ramza you probably shouldn't pull. But if you don't, rest assured that, much like winter, songs are coming. Not soon, but eventually.
Still better than me. I have noctis and various finishers. Got nobody who could even chain lol.

Iam happy if I get Lunera, but Iam not chasing it. As said earlier I don't need to clear trial asap, it can wait. My party is missing so many key units that one über friend unit cant help there.
I'm at 45 pulls since I started hoarding. What I mean is that I can't even get bonus units or the 4* featured ones.
Type 0 part 3 was awful, current FF XII is awful, thank god for Brave Frontier I guess.

Was meant to respond to this yesterday. You're ready. You've been waiting long enough and saving hard enough lol. I remember how long I saved for Aileen, and then she came and I felt like I wasn't ready at all haha. Didn't even pull on the first day despite having 55k lapis. But when I got her it was such a relief that it was finally over, you know? Honestly I'm looking forward to OKs release just to see you get him lmao. Now whether you'll get 2 is a different story.
Lets put it this way:
Not sure how many hundreds pulls (including all the freebies & dailies & tix) I made during 2017. I do know that I have over 200 pulls after Xon banner and Iam still Xonless.
On the other hand. I didn't pull (beside 2-3 dailies) from Sozhe Banner (Aileen I think?)
And now I have 5 Sozhe's (3 of them are 100% TM:ed).
Having 3 Zyrus I got them all after Zyrus banner, whilst pulling over 70 times there.
DKC was my only 5* 2017 before guaranteed Rainbow.
I got DKC from winter freebie (February 2017).
Now I have 3 5* 2017

- Wilhelm (guaranteed)
- Tidus
Thats one rainbow per 65 days or so.
I have 5 Karl's, 0 Seria, 0 Tilith.
I tried but failed (3 Karl's are from last year BF banner).
0 Ashe, 0 Raisler.
I do really hope you get your Onion Knight and getting it wont eat all your savings.

I still think the Robot will be doable without an AoE singer.
Of course it will be. I'm sure the GL community will even figure out cheese strategies for it that'll make it easier.
There are plenty of mp regen sources on GL right now, just like there's plenty of firepower to nuke robo.

I was absolutely dead set on hard pulling Lunera all yesterday, I was really looking forward to the big Friday pull, but now I'm going to completely skip her... probably.
My thought was that she would get something in between +1 or +2; 60-80% just to keep her relevant. +40% stat buff is completely pointless given its no better than even Rain's Leadership (Or Tilith's Celestial Light) with minor healing, and she's completely immobile for 3 turns. Having an attack unit immobile for 3 turns is absurd unless the payoff is good.
But good magic attackers are always welcome. Her buff/nerf to her Arrows is interesting. She peaks at 6 turns vs 10 turns but is stronger each turn. Meaning she's 25% weaker at peak than JP, but climbs faster. While I wish GL maxed at 8 turns so that it matched up in max output, its a necessary adjustment.
However, given her unique frames, and given her unique dual elements, she really needs more than one of herself to chain up. So getting at least two of her is going to be crucial. I really wish her Areola ray was Holy with either Fire or Lighting instead of Wind, so that Ace would be able to act as a elemental imperial for her).

Skippable banner is skippable. My guess is Ramza update in a month. They release Zarg and Lunera knowing they can't fit the bill when compared to Ramza 2.0 but they need to make money so the impatient will spend the cash to grab the units, all the while holding Ramza 2.0 back, this is a business after all and they need to make money. I hit claim all, have ~250 to burn through, every so closer to Fryevia's sword!
