Which it will if they don't fix that ice resistance. Fryevia gonna go bombs away on dat ass. If they do fix it then I will probably swap some things for more SPR.
Do you guys think the Adamantite Chest of Renewal is worth getting? There is one day left. I drained 10k lapis and like 30 tickets chasing Ashe and never got her. Never had such bad luck in this game...Got like 4 Rikkus without even trying. I'm stopping now because I'm down to 9300 lapis and 16 tickets.

Luck is either going to be there or it isn't. No reason to keep dumping dollars in when it likely will never result in getting what you're expecting.

I'm guessing Firion w/ some Champions belts.
ATK and DEF +30 and +20% ATK/DEF when equipped with a fist weapon.
Edit - Seems Firion also gets +30% when equipped with a fist.
Should make him a monster finisher.

Rikku would benefit from getting Overdrive which you can still get right now. It's her event weapon.
Orlandeau requires no event specific stuff for himself. He's just a chaining monster.

Absolutely. Rikku doesn't have one, anyway.
Orlandu's is 40% def/spr break, which could be useful in very specific situations, but usually isn't. WoL has a better, AOE equivalent now, and that doesn't take up one of Orlandu's precious materia slots.

I can't find a ranking for Ashe. She sounds awesome though with her AoE dmg and heal?
Guess the beauty of it is that it'll probably be worthwhile to use on any unit(equip fists materia) thanks to the high atk and the accompanying +50% atk with fists materia from the trial.
The fists also give increased LB fill rate, so even if you don't need the atk you could still use it for that.
Could possibly turn noctis into an lb spam machine with that thing.
$49.99 gets you 8500 lapis normally. The $47.99 anniversary bundle gets you 10,000, 5 tickets, a 10% trust moogle, an Auto-Refresh TM and 100 energy. Even if you value tickets at a very conservative 250 lapis a pop (= daily half-price pull) you're getting 2,750 lapis "free".
I bought it because Nier is coming up and I'm getting ready to make an astronomically bad decision by chasing 2B. If you have some units coming up you plan on chasing, I'd buy it. If you think you might buy a standard lapis bundle any time in the near future, this is very likely better.
Aileen > Firion > Yun? I don't know that Yun is particularly relevant anymore. The lack of units to utilize the rewards for this trial is why I'm not stressing myself out worrying about preparation.
If I can beat the trial I'm putting it on Wilhelm with 2x Champion Belts for sweet counterhit damage and LB boost.

I'm already pretty far into Black Cowl somehow. I guess I've gotten Hayate's outta the rear? Or maybe spent some Moogles in past on it or something. I remember it took forever to even get Hayate. (Didn't get any until after crystal change.) The Cowl though is for Orlandu.

Yun is kinda outdated right now skillwise, even though he'll be able to get 1.1k atk with the knuckle and it's mastery.
Orlandu is the best unit right now on GL.
Rikku is the best support.
With or without event materia, both will be a staple in your party for quite a while.

I love the Tactics events. And I'm so ready for OK! But my ticket stash isn't. ;_; Though, got 17k lapis or so. I'd be willing to burn it all for a chance at him. That's why I won't get him. :/

I have to say I'm really starting to like Fryevia. I've always used a magic finisher outside of Olive on my team, that finisher now is Trance Terra who does insane dps when finishing with Alterna but once Fry's TM is finished and I get equip rod I'm going to take her for a spin. I just wish she was easier to chain with.

It really is bad even with 525%. On a 3 bonus battle I only got 13k which is way too low for the chance at that. I am at 300k currency now, and will probably get to 500k and stop. I have only been doing it in the morning, and then TM farming, and then doing it again before bed and TM farming so I have missed out on a lot anyway.
Daily was Ashe! After getting 3 Raslers I gave up pulling for her but the daily provided. Nice that I can leave this banner with everything I wanted.
I bought my third power T4 today and now I'm going back to TM farming. With the trial and daily quests I'll probably get enough for a single support T4. I'm ready to enhance Agrias and Ramza the instant they drop now.
Gumi adding a story event during a mog king is a dick move, even if the event will last a week longer than the mog king. Speaking of the king, this raid can't end soon enough. So tired of fighting that smug jerk with his crappy raid banner.
Don't forget that enhancement rates are up starting Friday. Save your raid coins until then.

Agreed with the Fry love. On her banner and even after the "top tier chainer" talk, I wasn't convinced, so I didn't chase. I've been using friend Frys for a while now, and holy shit she makes things easy mode. It really helps that her damage hits SPR too, I feel. Hope I get lucky and pick one up down the road. Even if she ever drops relevancy somehow, that TM is amazing for any sword-capable mage.
I'd actually rather get her than Orlandu at this point.
Iam ok with this. Drop rate has been awful for me so been doing TM alot and only few runs per day in King Mog event. Story event I will go thru with help of nrg bottles. I have almost 40 bottles ready to be used.

So it looks like the updated version of Nox doesn't have all the connection issues I'd been experiencing! Went through the whole night for the first time in ages

Zera are you playing on android or iOS? cause I can confirm that the magnifying gestures trick works with her for a perfect chain so if you're on android you can turn it on when you're using her for a much easier time.
Agreed. Even though she's limited to Ice as a chainer her damage is insane.

For those of you that are fans of Nier, what the heck is up with their stupid names? I'm assuming they are either cyborgs or clones/slaves of some sort to have such designations. That'd be cool if NIER is a RAID because that means we'd get something else at the same time for those of us that don't care about that game. Tactics pt.3 makes the most sense as others have pointed out since Ramza is due for his enhancements. My buddy that just started playing pulled an Agrias, maybe I'll have him start leveling her up in preparation. I'm not sure what banner to expect after that since they are always trying to deviate Japan's schedule when they can. Hopefully not a FFBE banner since we're getting that with the story event.

Disclaimer: This will probably not be 100%. But with practice I have managed to perfectly spark chain with Tidus the majority of the time when it was previously thought impossible.
General plan: induce as much lag as possible. The first step is to use the zoom function. This can be found as follows: Settings General Accessibility Zoom Zoom --> On Tap the tab on the bottom of the zoom window to bring up the options Choose Filter --> Grayscale Inverted Adjust the zoom with the slider Move the zoom window and resize the lens as needed Place the zoom window over the two units you want to chain

With just this zoom and the filter, there is enough lag yo make spark chains possible despite the limitations of iOS. It is however very inconsistent.
Credit to u/Asuravajra711 for this part. If you press the home button, there's a delay before you actually leave the app. Press the chaining units during this delay. I've found that it helps to wait as long as you can before tapping the units. You do have to be quite quick with your presses still.
It's not as easy as Android, and it won't be 100% consistent. But at least it's possible, right?
I'm sure there's room for experimenting. Some parts of this probably aren't necessary. I also have 3D touch off and I'm not sure if that helps. So if anyone has any new findings to make it simpler or easier, please share! Note: I'm on an iPhone 6s for comparison purposes.
Edit: u/thousand101 has reported good success by just double tapping the home button before pressing the chainers.
Edit2: it may not work for iPhone 7. If anyone with one can make it work, please share.

Edit4: Some updates with my personal experience. If you're going to use zoom, it doesn't matter where you zoom, it'll still induce lag. So you can put it above where you press your actions if you so desire. Still not sure if window size or magnification affects it. I've been going as large and as close as possible. For the home button, single or double click, the trick is to wait as long as possible. You shouldn't even see the actions be pressed until you go back into the app, and then it'll look like you pressed them simultaneously. I've yet to see it fail when it looks like that. And yes, it seems that the home button manipulation has the largest effect.

This isn't a spoiler as you find out right at the beginning of the game but
they're androids. Aliens came to earth and sent robots to kill humanity. Humans went to the moon and built androids to fight for them
Yep they are all androids/robots and the name is their designation. The letter is their 'type' (S for support, B for...I guess battle) and the number is basically their serial number. A2 is an earlier prototype, which is presumably why her letter and number are reversed, or just to better differentiate her from 2B. The JP Nier event was a raid so unless they really put in the effort ours likely will be as well. Adam was in the raid summon so I'm hoping the new global exclusive units will be too and we won't have a 5 unit banner. Either way you can at least get Adam for free, and some of the other raid rewards were nice from what I remember.
