IGN lists the release date as February 7th, kinda soon for a game we haven't seen anything of, isn't it? Is this just IGN's placeholder date, or do you think we can really expect the game then?

I haven't seen a single screenshot so it's probably false.

the game is pretty far in development from what i understand. i would not be suprised if they unveiled it around the same time they unveil Boktai and Casltevania in janurary,

He's been stating this ever since that big DS conference where everything was announced (Pokemon, etc). I'm not sure quite how to take it yet. He did hint at the big DS announcements before they happened. Including Meteos.

I really hope he is right though. A new Castlevania would make me desperate to find a DS.

I'll be honest and step out the box to say I believe you to an extent. But I'd be a fool to get my hopes up and run buck wild around here. Of course I know you understand this. It's not a big deal either way to me. This is just gaming news, and not like staking my life on some risky stock purchase in which I could easily get screwed over.

I don't really see FFCC as a good game to release that early in the system's life anyway. It's built around multiplayer, and there are't that many people with DSs yet.

If they want the FF name on the DS quickly though, I think they'd be better getting FF3 out as soon as possible. Then launch FFCC at Christmas or something.

it's about time Konami strikes with another Castlevania game. All 3 GBA games were triple AAA. Castlevania is perfect on a handheld.
