Been playing X on PS4 for the first time. Still fairly early in the game. Just finished the first fight with Sin on the boat after getting Yuna and the rest of the party.
About how far into the game does Auron join the party?
Also where is first good area to grind out a few levels in the beginning?
Edit: NVM, found a good area just before the 2nd temple.

Auron will join in a couple more hours
The Mihen Highroad is a good grind spot early on, after Luca events.
I always farm the sinspawn on the boat you just passed.
Mushroom Rock Road is probably the best spot for grinding early on.
If you're going to grind before Mi'ihen Highroad, make sure you save an Ability Sphere for Wakka's Extract Ability skill so you don't run out.

Just saw Amazon is currently selling it for $24.99, but shipping is "within 1-2 months". Every where else it's super expensive. Ordered it along with the Nioh guide.
