all the carriage themes at the start based on the old field themes from the original game for the respective areas. On Windy Meadow (I think that is the one) for Limsa, and it used the later half of 1.0 music they used for the field in black Shroud, not the initial theme which was more mysterious/foreboding.
Not like FFXI no, there is FATE events that have notorious monsters/boss mobs but defeating them only gives EXP and gil at the moment and later will give grand company points when you get signed up for a specific grand company. There is even an NM called bubbly Bernie in that is around lvl 13 and looks just like the old FFXI crabs XD. There are also named mobs that periodically show up during leve quests but they are only slightly higher level then the other mobs and give a slight bonus to your reward (more EXP/Gil etc.) there are also lots of boss mobs in dungeons, and later on they want to make some large scale NM FATEs akin to something like besieged style fights fighting the boss in the area or primals. Unknown if they intend to make the fates used for anything other then that. They hinted they might make item drops for seasonal events but they are not making item drops at the moment for winning FATEs, maybe token/points at best to trade in for other gear.

Yep,it will look awesome on the PS4...the PC version,at 1080p,with all the bells and whistle looks amazing for a MMO.
Yes and I got stomped by The Great Buffalo today in Limsa. Lalafells are doughy and squish easy.
You can also find ones like Prince of Pestilance (sp?) in Gridania.

From what I've played before today, it feels like your theme park style MMO but with a bit more depth to the world and systems of the game. This phase added a lot more stuff. If this was a real new mmo launch it would most likely be the most content packed mmo. *at least at the low levels so far*
Every class has a semi-unique combat flow to them as well which is fun.

There will be a merchant in the same camp with the quest, it's under the tools option to buy stuff.

If Cid is going to beard up, so is my character. That and I gave him a few scars. Getting through the end of the world without a few scars seems unlikely.
Anyway, it says my character is a level 1 LNC. Did I do something wrong?
The one is 1.0 did alright. Had a lot of members flake off, but it was active the whole way through. Don't know if that's exceptional or not.
