I was also Elvaan in XI and thinking of rolling male Miqo'te here because of how great the models/animation look. But the overabundance of catmans are actually pushing me away from that >_<

You'd be surprised how many obscure server crash bugs MMO's have sometimes. I remember they were fixing a ton of them in WoW early on.

Considering our characters are still alive and well in the Lodestone and kept the progress from since the start of Phase 3, we will probably keep them until Phase 4. Once Phase 4 starts, we'll create what will (hopefully) be our final char, so don't worry about your current avatar.

Quit the game and then boot it up again. You'll have to get all the way to linking your Square account and SEN account. Then the game client will download. Then all you have to do is wait for the beta going live.

After finishing the first Main Story quest chain (Spirithold Broken I think), Miounne will unlock Guild Leves. You'll be able to undertake a quest that will teach you how levequests work. Trust me, you'll know it when you get there.

Seems it won't work. I quit the game and tried to boot it up, also deleted it and try to reinstall. Stuck at black screen and the mouse pointer.

Well... stats also matter.... and the stats this race has is high STR and high DEX... so gimp your whatever all you want... just know that you should have chosen the race best suited for the job you most likely chose. (homosexual? really? homophobe much?)

i will say this... ther are a LOT of male miqo'te... i personally dont mind.. because they have high dex and str... but... they all seem to have picked the same hair as me... I was actually thinking of going mancat. I was a Taru in XI and falafel in 1.0 and while even if I did stick with them in ARR I would have a make over, I like the looks of mancat. They are like humans in that they can look 'serious' and not just totes adrobs when trying to be serious but they are also not as boring as humans because they've got the ears/tail.

I wanna be a SMN though again so if I want to min max I'll probs need a race good in that stuff like Taru were in XI.

Racial stat differences are pretty insignificant, there's like a 6 points difference at most in any given stat between the strongest and weakest race and it doesn't seem to scale with level. By level 20, your strongest stats are already in the 100s with gear and at level 50 you can get like 15~20 attribute points per gear slot.

Lalafell are adorable as hell, C@s are cute and you can have fluffy tails, Roe are pretty muscular but not overly so.

The only advantage to playing a hume, elf or a galka is available only to people who enjoy feeling shame in public

One time a few days ago (when I got my beta code after speaking with customer services) I couldn't log in. I was using the right account and pass (saved in my browser) and the right doe from my thingie. Eventually let me in on the third time of using the exact same code. Dunno what was wrong there. Just kept saying username/password incorrect or something like that.
