In the time period just after maintenance has completed, we predict a rush of characters logging in simultaneously. In order to prevent any technical difficulties due to this login rush, we will be temporarily placing severe login restrictions. These login restrictions may occur frequently, lasting from a few minutes to ten minutes; however, restrictions will be lifted in a gradual manner as login status is carefully monitored. We ask for your patience and understanding in this matter.

Furthermore, as a result of the countermeasures taken to alleviate stress on the Duty Finder servers, we expect to be able to increase the number of players able to login simultaneously; however, if those login numbers still surpass the maximum number of possible logins in the various Worlds, please be aware that we will continue to implement login restrictions.

So one thing that sort of sucks now is no chance to play in instances with Japanese. They sort of took away the worldly feel completely now that was in ffxi

Anywhere between 10 minutes to 2 hours in my case, though I'm not sure how often they're going to be lifting the restrction today.

Only time I get 90000 errors is when my net hiccups, then it's just 10 minutes of 3102 for the server to play catch up.

No other problems so far with getting into Leviathan.

EDIT: Until I 90000 this time around and get a 3102 for longer. Who had bets on 3102s?

If you are a new player you should be able to.

I went to register my code, and it created a second service account, for whatever reason, sadly.
I was part of beta, and early access, so if you were part of that and do get the game, just make sure to read things carefully, and make sure not to hit something that makes you create a whole new account.
But if you are brand new, should be ok I'd think.

Just sit there refreshing the server list every three minutes. It'll open eventually. I spent about 20-30 minutes doing it yesterday while I was just sitting there browsing the internet, it eventually let me in.

Haven't been getting 1017s anymore and I've been trying off and on since the servers came back. I just get put in the queue. I want to see if it holds up at peak times though.

You're not logged in to the actual world/server yet until you get past the character select and initial load screen. And 3079 is a new one, I think.

There are still some persistent issues going on, like:

Getting the unable to retrieve Na/EU world again

90000, 1017,
Japan Server list still going down/lobby connection issues,
If anything this is less stable than before where at least once you are logged in you stay logged in.

Technically that ones not new, but it's also not on the poll list so----poll still called it. Looks like most people are getting 3102 now.

You can always roll on a Japanese server.... Tonberry and Tiamat have a lot of Oceanic/South East Asia players on them.

Those of you who will stick with the game for sure might want to try buying game time now to make sure you don't get any errors... I was unable to use my Scotiabank Visa to buy game time. When I use my Scotiabank Visa to make online purchases I usually get redirected to Scotiabank's site to authenticate, but that didn't happen here... thus I only got an error in the end.

If your bank uses such an authentication process when making online purchases, you may want to give it a shot to make sure yo don't have problems before the free period is up.

Yup. Every single crystal I came across was like this. Not to mention all the people idling all over the 3 cities not at the crysatls themselves, and the people idling around the world in nooks & crannies.

Did the first dungeon this afternoon, fairly easy and I got complimented for my tanking which is always nice. And rare.

Expecting the story to continue on I handed the quest in but no. "Hey go over here and into THIS random dungeon!"

Least the queues are only 2-3 mins as a gladiator.
