Hit lvl 50 with my White Mage a few hours ago. Taking a short nap and then will be hitting up dungeons when I get back. Let me know if anyone needs a healer for their groups for 30+ dungeons. Character's name is Alabasta Callaghan. :D

Just noticed I'm pretty behind on the main questline, oh man. :lol

Does the extra 20% EXP from the Moogle Hat or Helm of Light stack? (Levels below 10)

It should, though the game's way of telling you the bonus exp is really weird.

What's this about?

+ Free cookies for spelling armour correctly.

That's how it's spelled in the game :)

Basically there's a system in place that gives you bonus exp if you have a higher level class with the same character than your current class. But it's not as flexible as I thought it would be.

Have you done the quests in Forgotten Springs?

I have no issue with any game I've ever owned but this map is just fighting me at every corner. I'm in Ul'dah and need to find the pugilist guild yet I keep running in circles. I feel so dumb.

How difficult is Stone Vigil compared to Cutter's?

I suppose the better question is if there's anything in SV as annoying as first boss in C?

You will get used to it, trust me.

I'm on PS3 myself and the map is second-nature to me now. The whole game is really intuitive on the PS3.

Oooohhh, that's a neat idea. Can't say I've been feeling it though, struggling to make up the EXP to get to lv15 a times.

Im so gonna hate getting the healer up to 15 so can get the paladin job... D:

For crafting foods I cant decide if CP up or Control up would be more beneficial. Right now leaning more towards CP up as it can raise more potential quality than control up can it seems... hmmm

Using arcanist is very odd coming off of pugilist, but I can't help but love the casting animation for it.

I just hope there's more pets in the future

I hope so. I was playing with mouse and keyboard on the PS3 at first and apart from combat it works well so I hope I get the map down.

Will have to go and see if I can find a way to bind skills to the keyboard as having to select them with a mouse ain't ideal.

That's cool, I didn't know the PS3 version supported KB/M for gameplay. I honestly can't see myself playing the PS3 version with a controller, or the PS3 version at all :/

The game is just too beautiful on PC maxed out and PS3 version is sub-HD and ~30 FPS.

Hopefully the PS4 version is 1080p/60 FPS - that would look glorious on the new 50" LED I'm getting later this year.

So Square Enix have extended the free trial with further 7 days.

What does this exactly mean? I bought the game on August 27 and got the 30-days free as everyone else. What is this free trial stuff and will I get 7 days more?

I don't think it supports mouse. Only keyboard.

You will end up with 37 days free, all-told.

It supports mouse.

You can play with a keyboard and mouse on PS3. All the options for it are in the menus.

About the same in terms of difficulty, it's not a difficult dungeon but will require the party to respond quick and paying more attention. My healer died like 5 times on the same boss, lol (with the arcanists raising her over and over).

I don't remember what the first boss was though in CC, but stone vigil was the funner dungeon, CC was dull.

Can I also have the hotbar from the PC version on PS3 if I use mouse/keyboard?

I have not found a way to do so.

The hotbar stays the same and you have to select a skill by clicking on it. Also keyboard and mouse on ps3 makes perfecting the UI a possibility as you can move everything.

garuda was cool. we wiped a few times with the random group i was in, but it was fun learning new tricks with every round and best it in the end. i was alone with the healer in the last phase, so that was extra intense.

the other players were quite excited i think. they even stayed for a brief chat in he end, which ist quite rare. lol.

let me also say that it was the best cutscene so far. hopefully they make them as good in the future.

I decided to just use the players between lv40-50 online now on Ultros just to see how things looked.

Will give it a shot.

first boss in cc was ant queen dps check boss

Why do they put a cap on the amount of quests you can have active (30)? The duty list only displays 5 quests at most anyway, so what's the disadvantage to having as many quests active as you like?

Is it really that fast to level up by joining random fates across the map? I thought they gave quite the low amount of xp, might it just be in the beginning?

The maintenance starts in about 12 hours and runs for about 10 hours... (So midnight GMT until 10am GMT)

I'm pretty surprised Monk is one of the lower ones.

My anecdotal evidence led me to believe the most popular class is Monk. Having pugged a ton of dungeons I have never had a single run without a monk. Summoner seems to be a distant second from what I have seen pugging. Only seen one Dragoon, and never been grouped with a Bard.
