Argh. I'll buy the first limited edition 3DS XL that comes out in NA. Until then, my OG 3DS will be fine.
What is og 3DS?
@deathcobra:
The 3DS at the top is definitely an XL, but there's no way it's the FE one.
Those bastards! Ha!This. Nintendo just uses the XL in trailers and game footage/screenshots for marketing purposes.

YES! Will get FE eventually then. Playing too many RPGs and wanna get Pokemon Black 2 as my next one. But this does look like a good 3DS to have...Yes, you can grind in this one.
Why it is?
You know I've actually been contemplating one for Atlus, Cave Story, Unchained Blades, that Petit Computer DSiWare game and a couple others.Mmh... Maybe a good occasion to get a US 3DS ?
Amazing. Thanks! I'm so going to sell my digital copy. Oh man, can't wait.Only the origin system's data gets wiped. The destination system's settings, Miis, and stuff get overwritten but the game licenses are merged. (You only "lose" a game if both systems have the same game installed. Then your previously two licenses become one.)
Plus it's the exact same size as GB Pocket and DS Lite, it just feels right in my collectionXL loses pocketability due to enormous size, damaging streetpass potential. Larger screens are "larger" but also have much worse DPI, a notable minus to the image-quality-conscious.

I didn't know it being the original 3DS was a deal breaker for so many people. Is it really the size? I recently bought a GB Micro and I never want to play GBA games on anything that isn't my Micro, but that's just me.
I'd buy a 3DS Micro in a heartbeat. It's Micro or XL for me. Nothing in-between!Plus it's the exact same size as GB Pocket and DS Lite, it just feels right in my collection

Yeah, the screens are just too damn small on the OG model. The DPI is lower on the XL, but the improvement from having such big screens is massive... for me, at least. It's just much, much more pleasant to use, especially if you don't care about the portability of it.
Plus if your hands are sized large the 3DSXL won't hurt the hands.Yeah, the screens are just too damn small on the OG model. Exaggerate much? Reads like you're over-compensating.XL loses pocketability due to enormous size, damaging streetpass potential. Larger screens are "larger" but also have much worse DPI, a notable minus to the image-quality-conscious.
I suppose they want to clear stock. Blerg.

Also why another blue one!!! Why can't we have a white or black one for once. So far the only black one has been that Zelda one.

There was also the Cosmo Black 3DS.
