Well the Romancing Saga series were platinum sellers back in the day and no Fire Emblem game has sold more than 600,000 copies. BUT, this game actually looks like it could appeal to people who aren't just SRPG otaku like me, while people are probably sick of SaGa now. Who knows.

Nintendo needs to hurry up and announce a deluxe package so I can cancel my regular order and get that instead. I've always liked how they'll have deluxe packages full of goodies for the Fire Emblem series and this is probably the biggest Fire Emblem game since Fuuin, so they better not disappoint!

Hehe, i still have a hard time wrapping my mind around that Fire emblem is made by nintendo, the art, the maturity of the story in them, its so unlike nintendo's typical image. Intelligent system is such an underdog at NCL, they should give them a bigger budget and expand the studio, fuck EAD, I want more IS goodies 
Video = pure sex, the CGs' mix with drawn art is fantastic imo, the villain looks really badass and the battle animation are pretty much what you would expect from the transition of 2d to 3d.

Yup. This has truly been the generation where IS shined bright and EAD fizzled. Hal has been decent I guess. To bad IS still concentrates most of its releases to the portable sector they could really become Nintendo's premier development house if they made more console games.

EAD has been busy on too many projects this gen, and passing staff out to Retro, SK and the IS.
Iwata announced all the teams will expand, so hopefully if we have stuff like this now from IS i can't wait until Rev games are shown off!!!

This game went from "hopeful" to "get it in my cube stat".
The boys at NOA are going to have fun localizing this one for us. They told me they get really defensive about their projects as they are huge fanboys of certain games. You can really tell that Tim and co. put a lot of effort into the writing in the first localization, and I hope they really take their time with the two upcoming ones.
North American Fire Emblem was my first Fire Emblem experience, and it pretty much blew me away. I have confidence that they will pull off another killer title.

Oh my, it looks awesome.
A lot of Fire Emblem fans actually hate the localization work done on Rekka no Ken, and they (the localizers) seem to be fumbling with Seima because they're changing a LOT of names for no reason (Eirik becomes Eirika, Couger becomes Cormag, etc.). But I only play the games in Japanese (have never played Rekka in english) so I don't really care. Plus I met one of the localizers at a past E3 and he was really enthusiastic about the series so yeah they're cool in my book, even if they're not the best localizers out there.
