Edit: 3 blues. Free was Oboro. Second was Gwendy. Third was Ninian! +Spd -def. I almost gave up on the pull lol.

Got it done with my usual arena team of Ryoma, Delthea, Julia and Brave Lucina. I had Ryoma tank the Zanbato sword cavalry then he deals with Hawkeye after Ninian dances him to his doom. Next turn I shuffle around a little and have Delthea kill the lance cavalry and put Lucina into position to tank Ninian. For some ungodly reason she can survive my Julia's attack. Next turn blow up Ninan and the other sword then on the final turn take out the green tome with Julia + G tomebreaker with Iceberg charged.

Looks like the Fire Emblem Warriors special maps start tomorrow. I wonder what they'll be like. At least we know they'll have some interesting music.

That better be the map theme. Shit is hype.

The Bound maps were probably the easiest for me yet. I used all my orbs trying for Elincia and all I got was a 4% pity rate.

Beat Infernal with Ryoma, Hector, Azura, and Bridal Cordelia. I basically just had Ryoma tank the Green Mage and Hawkeye (who teleports with WoM3). The Green Mage mage died after Ryoma procced Vantage 3.

Swapped with Hector who killed Ninian and the Lance Cavalier. Bridelia and Azura handled the left side.

The key is to damage but not KO the Green Mage so that the Lance Cav doesn't take his place and obliterate your Red bait.

I wouldn't say there's ever really a good time but it might be best to wait for the next Hero Fest. Could be a while though.

Unless you're committed to spending enough money to get what you want it's not really a good idea to throw down cash. Elincia will show up again. Hopefully you'll have hoarded up a decent stash of orbs by then.

At this point I would wait for a special banner with higher rates or for a sales on orbs. Elincia will surely come back one day. Even if you spent money there is no guaranty you will get what you want and then you will want to spend more until you get her and you will probably feel like shit in the end because you spend way too much. Peri might be a good firesweep/brave lance user. Only Oscar have better offensive stats than her between lance cavaliers.

It seems like every time I see Elincia IVs posted, they change either attack or speed in some way.

Maybe it's just that people with bad IVs are more disappointed or likely to need advice on how to make her viable but it's making me question how IVs are assigned.

Yeah you guys are right, thanks. I regretted not going for Ninian on her original banner and now she's been on maybe 4 lol and I'm fortunate enough to have her. Just have to be patient, and use Caeda for now I guess lmao.

I lack units that can tank the first onslaught without dying and the units are too deep for horses to safely escape bc of Ninian.

Edit: Finally did it with Ike (Vantage), Delthea for Attack buffs, Ninian with Hone Spd, and Brave Lyn. Buffed the shit out of Ike to tank the green mage without dying and moved everyone else bottom left to bait the horses. Picked everyone off starting with the horses with Lyn as Ike safely rotated back to the team.

Yeah, tried it first with my poney team but I quickly switched to a more "casual" team of Effie, Kagero, Ryoma and Hector.
What worked best for me was to use a strong red (Ryoma) to bait the green mage on the right side of the map, and then switch it with my green unit (Hector) to deal with Ninian and the blue horse who get attracted to this side. On the other side I just tank the other units with Effie, with the support of Kagero around her.

Did it with Eiphraim, Rein , B.Lyn and a dancer.

Ephraim goes to middle danger zone and ends turn. The red cavalier attacks, is danced and then dies.

B.Lyn can pick off Hawkeye and Rein the blue cavalier whenever its safe. Reposition, etc as needed. Then finish off.

Man, I got really lucky. Did a free pull and got a Ninian O_O. She's +Spd -Res to go with my +HP -Def one. This is my second free 5* in three banners, I pulled Hawkeye on the Death Blow banner. Game is giving me luck now after my downright rotten time with the Crimean banner.

Managed to beat Infernal, it wasn't that bad. I used Azura, Celica, Innes and Melons. Azura tanked the red units, Innes the green mage, Melons the blue units and Celica attacked from a distance.

Infernal wasn't too bad with Ephraim/Nino/Tharja/Azura. The mages wreck everything, though Azura had to tank one hit from the lance cav. But even she could do that.

Free pull was 3* Jagen. I guess more Fortify Cavalry is useful?

I like these off-weeks in arena. I get to pull out fun but low BST units, like Felicia.

Went in to scout the Infernal BHB and somehow winged it on my first go with Oboro, Ike, Bike and Fae

Armor emblem is making these BHB trivial.

Also grinding for SP during the week is mind numbing. Trying to grind Sheena for SP to unlock fortify armor and inherit DC in anticipation of BK and it is a drag. Thank goodness they started doing double sp on the weekends.

I wanted a green unit, but free pull only gave me 3 blues, 1 red and 1 grey orb to choose from. Choose a blue and got Catria. Heh, I can always use another flyer (my only other one is Narcian). There is actually a quest awarding 3 Arena recharges requiring killing enemies with a flyer that I need to complete.

I really need to complete the one with 5 energy drinks (defeat 15 enemies of level 35 or above with a green unit), but my only decent green unit is Anna at level 28 (3*). It's gonna take a few more days before she can help. Oh well.

Put Gray and Zanbato to work for this BHB. Wiped out two cavs as he held the checkpoint and traded blows with the third (strong blue cav), having gotten just enough help from Spur Defense around him. After that heals from Serra as he whittled down Ninian to low health. One finishing blow from Serra to free Gray up to move and bring in Ryoma for last two including overkill on Hawkeye. Through two turns previously, Serra held then Ryoma DC'd the green mage through the wall on the right.

Gray had Vantage 3 from a spare 4* Reinhardt which no doubt helped. So basically two strong swords with Vantage, one with Zanbato, and a healer. Titania just stayed back with the aforementioned Spur Defense.

My BHB team was: Ike (sword), Brave Lyn, Hector, Azura. I just force everyone to attack Hector and Ike before cleaning up with Lyn.

Definitely a difficult one with Horse users. I had to swap out Reinhardt for Ike because he was getting one shot by the red sword horse rider.

What's worth more points, a high BST or high cost skills? On my AA team I replaced my Lucina w/ Aether and Sharena with +1 Masked Marth and Nowi, and my score was noticeably lower that run. Their BST should be higher, but the skill cost is noticeably down.

Wat? This was easy as fuck with Horse Emblem. Used Xander, Camus, Frederick and Bow Lyn. Neede 3 tries, one could have done it on two but misplaced Frederick.

Did Infernal BHB with Reinhardt, Hector, Sanaki, and Ninian. Took me a couple tries because I kept inadvertently putting Reinhardt in harm's way for the enemy phase. But overall, it was quite easy.
