If you post what extensions you have please also explain what they do and how it improves your web experience.
So what's the consensus on the best add ons for Firefox. Also which one's would you recommend. The one's I currently have installed are
Ad Blocker Plus:Adding this has blocked pretty much 99% of all the ads on the net I normally see. Easily the best app I think I may have ever downloaded. Also as an added benefit it has seemed to improve the speed of my browsing since I no longer have to load adds sites pop up faster.
Blocksite: I added this to go along with Ad blocker plus specifically when downloading files via depositfiles. Every time I would download a file it forced open another browser and brought up some stupid site. Added this extension and blocked the site problem solved.
Download Status Bar:When downloading files a little status bar in the bottom left hand corner will show the elapsed tim of the download. Helpful because always bringing up the download window can sometimes get in the way.
Download Helper:This extension allows me to download FLV(flash video) from sites that stream content. I dont use it to often but it comes in handy when the stream is jumpy and all over the place, and its just 1 small icon so its not much clutter.
Forecastfox: I actually disable this last night. It kept popping up the weather that was already being being displayed. If someone can tell me how to disable that pop up I would enable it again.
Google Toolbar: Pretty self explanatory it allows me to search google without actually having to be on the google page.
Webmail Notifier: Awesome little add on that checks my email for me every 5 minutes for updates. When an email comes in the very small envelope icon in the bottom right corner will show a number corresponding to how many unread emails I have. If there is an add-on like this that checks more than 2 emails let me know guys.
Foxy Tunes: This extension allows me to control the music I play via the browser instead of always having to click back to wmv. Very help and still tinkering around with since Ive only had it for a couple of days.
I read somewhere that there was an extension that added a new's ticker to the browser. That sounds like a cool addition but I cant seem to find it.
