I can't get links that are suppost to open a new window, to just open in a new tab. I think I have everything set right in the options but it's still not working.

Any help?

You can also get the Tabbrowser Preferences extension for added control of what opens where.

Actually, Firefox has a hidden preference that unlocks tabbed browsing options in the Advanced Options screen.

If you go into about:config and add a new perf called browser.tabs.showSingleWindowModePrefs and set it to true, and then restart Firefox, new options should have open up.

Those were not turned on by default because they can cause the browser to crash every once in a while (maybe once a month or two).
