Hey guys, I am trying to install Firefox on a comp that I picked up running WinXP SP1 that had been using IE. I have used Firefox before on a Win98 machine, but on this machine it is simply not working. Every time I open it and try to get to a web page it says "The connection has been refused when attempting to contact ____". Now to me this sounds like a firewall or port problem, but I am unable to figure it out. Anyone got any suggestions?

I have Firefox and WinXp Pro, and I havent had one issue yet.

Neither have I, buts thats not really helping the poor fella. Check out the forums at mozillazine.org, and if you can't find any previous topics about it, make a post.
