i have my fingers crossed. The Destiny OT has been full of criticism but not outright venom like the non-OT Destiny threads here. I hope the same is true of the Bayo OT, a little island in the poison where we can actually discuss the game without rabid frothing and hyperbole.

Like the people who happily danced on the prospect of it having unstable framerate actually can tell the difference between 30 and 60 fps and noticed it themselves.
Everyone until yesterday said about how smooth it looks and today they act like they know there is a drop but they still can't see it.
This game sold out its limited edition in Europe, looks great and is WiiU exclusive. The faster some people digest this fact, the sooner their next meal will take place.
OT, no one pays attention to Famitsu scores.

Considering Jojo:ASB was broken for MONTHS after release, yeah, it's a telling list.
All of those games have gigantic glaring issues, some of which doesn't mean that the game is immediately bad, but certainly not perfect.

That Nintendogs score isn't even that undeserved when you consider it as part of the whole innovation the DS brought with breaking into new markets aka casual gamers.
Especially when talking about Japanese audiences, of course.
Perfect scores for Skyrim, Windwaker, FF13-2, Yakuza 5 and MGS
W make me wonder if they played longer than 3 hours of any of those games. I love Skyrim, Windwaker and Y5 to death, THEY HAVE SOME GIGANTIC FUCKING PROBLEMS! Skyrim especially, even more so if we're talking about the console versions. Don't trust Famitsu scores. Period.

There has been videos appearing on Youtube to bash the Wii U and the game to call it unplayable,its like the game suddendly turned to shit because its comparable to the original with V sync
The problem is that instead of damaging the reputation of Nintendo, as i suspect is the intent Platinum are the ones most affected, its a problem and a shame its doesnt run better, but its like some fanboys were waiting to latch to whatever they could find and discredit the game,the last thing we need is that some people dont buy the game for this and buy a 30 fps game instead.

This didn't even make any sense. The 10s for the PS3 version meant that the 60fps frame rate that made the 360 version more enjoyable and simply better, didn't even count.

In the last five years, Famitsu is a joke in my opinion. Throwing 40/40 for many games that don't deserve it and giving lower marks for amazing games. Anyway, great score and I'm pretty sure Bayonetta 2 is better than the first. Can't wait.
I know the game is gonna be awesome. That doesn't mean this review isn't complete bullshit. Famitsu have never, and will never be a relevant reviewing outlet.
Not like the game was 60fps on 360 anyway.

FFXIII-2 too is 40/40, what a joke. Don't get me wrong I liked FFXIII-2, but it isn't a perfect or an extraordinary JRPG.

I don't understand the aversion to buying a WiiU. It's now got plenty of solid titles to play, with Bayonetta 2 and Smash coming. At this point you're not buying the WiiU for a single game, you're buying it for a bunch of great games.

I'm not familiar with this sentiment, what is the problem with famitsu? Are they getting paid for reviews, prod they just hand out perfect 10s to anything?

I remember a writer from Famitsu coming out and saying that their reviews aren't a reflection of the value of a game but more how enthused they want their readers to be about a game. They will purposefully give a Japanese game a high score in order to make it sell more.

The reason I included 39/40, is because three of their reviewers still gave said game a 10. Hell, you have to drop the score to 36/40 before the last 10/10 is gone. Because of this, I feel like the difference between a perfect score and 39/40 is much smaller in the case of Famitsu. Not comparable to 9/10 and 10/10 from most review magazines/sites imho.
