First Look at Inhumass from new TV Series

Well, a version of the Inhumans will now be on the screen.
That's interesting, from a cultural perspective, I guess.

That looks abysmal... But there's also a reason why you can abbreviate "Entertainment Weekly" as "EW". It's not looking good but I'll wait until seeing photos of it in action before totally writing it off. Actual lighting and cinematography can make terrible costumes like this look passable.

That's the image they release?

Usually, I'll hold judgement because lighting, color correction, yada yada yada... but that looks awful.

What the hell did they do to Ken Leung? He looks like he went through two terms of the Presidency.

Yeah usually I'm all "let's wait and see" optimistic guy but this doesn't look good.

Well, Ramsey's about the only one who looks the part, and can pull off Maximus.

Why would any known actor want to be Black Bolt? As far as my knowledge of him goes, he can't talk. So, sign language and telepathy talking?

Still think it would have been better left to be a film, just so they'd have a budget to do some of these characters powers justice.

Coffee literally came out my nose. That's how hard I laughed. Scott Buck, y'all. Good luck. Hahahahaha

I admittedly know little about The Inhumans, but aren't most of the core characters too stoic and wooden to be considered relatable to a mainstream audience?

From what I've seen they are far removed from goofball-type characters like Deadpool or GotG. It's like an X-team where every member was Cyclops (plus one of them doesn't even talk).

Entertainment Weekly can make the best looking movie seem shit with the godawful shoots they do, so, while this looks bad, it's better to wait until seeing it in motion.

This is definitely a case where it is best to not follow the source material too closely, but use it to strongly inspire your costumes.

In this case, they should have kept the colors, but actually start with normal dress clothes and THEN try to update them to somewhat resemble the comics.

yeah the inhumans should look like space royality

Is Lockjaw actually going to be in this? Judging by this photo, they'll only be able to afford him if he's a hastily made paper mache dog being pulled around on a string.

Why does Marvel hate AoS?

Will this relate to AoS/MCU at all?

From the link

Does Inhumans live in the same universe as Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., considering on Earth there was this explosion of Inhumans?
We all inhabit the same universe, so things that have happened on S.H.I.E.L.D. will potentially affect our show as well.

How fucked are we?

How do you think Inhumans will differ from the other ABC or Netflix Marvel projects?
I’m not necessarily comfortable comparing it to other shows. I think we’re creating our own thing here. But having worked on a Netflix Marvel show, obviously I’m very aware of how that show goes. Again, just because the approach is strictly through character, we’re interested in creating an interesting world with interesting people that pull us in, so if there’s similarities to the other shows in that way, I guess that would be the case.

God damn fuck me two sides. They half assed Iron Fist, and they completely blow it with Inhumans. Trashing two of my favorite comic properties...!
