First look at the PlayStation Vue interface.

Looks great! Nice channel selection and sorting options. Really hope I can get into the NYC beta.

Adult Swim has content on their website, but for most of it you need to log in with your cable TV provider's credentials. Which is to say you cannot see it unless you have a Comcast/TimeWarner subscription.

Oh. :/ well, that sucks

then why not use adblock or a web filter?

I tend to watch/stream on my PS4. 90% of the time I watch something through that. Haven't even watched HBO Go since I moved away from a 360 since the PS4 doesn't have it. So Adblock/web filter isn't even an option there, and why something like PS Vue sounds so good as well.

hope i can try the beta soon. and hoping SONY finally puts out a new media remote for the PS4.

My Samsung Smart tv remote works on my ps4 -- I didn't even have to do anything. It uses Anynet+. I'm not saying this will help you, but it might (or someone else reading this). I had no idea until I accidentally tried to pause the movie I was watching with my tv remote and it magically worked -- now I use it for watching movies all the time. It also controls the XMB, though I wouldn't try to play games with it.

EDIT ---

A quick google, Anynet is what Samsung calls CEC. Every brand calls it something different. From the first page I found:

Trademarks for CEC:
Anynet+ (Samsung),
Aquos Link (Sharp),
BRAVIA Link and BRAVIA Sync (Sony),
HDMI-CEC (Hitachi),
E-link (AOC), Kuro Link (Pioneer),
CE-Link and Regza Link (Toshiba),
RIHD (Remote Interactive over HDMI) (Onkyo),
RuncoLink (Runco International),
SimpLink (LG),
T-Link (ITT),
HDAVI Control, EZ-Sync, VIERA Link (Panasonic),
EasyLink (Philips),
NetCommand for HDMI (Mitsubishi).

If you have any of that, your tv remote should control your ps4 if you have it set up.

i think i've tried this before, but the button presses weren't precise. I'd try to select something and it would go over 2 spots. gotta try again. thx.

Wow that looks so much faster and more responsive than any digital cable UI I've ever used (Fuck you Comcast, DirecTV and Dish). I'm so in on this.
