these "weird" flowers are spider lilys. They are very common in japan.

The only other Silent Hill game I ever played was Shattered Memory on the Wii. And I loved it. This looks incredible. Very interested in playing it.

What do we know about the gameplay and how it fits into the Silent Hill series? Is it a full-blooded sequel? Said another way, if Silent Hill had kept the numbered sequel convention, would this be Silent Hill 8 (or whatever it'd be)?

This would be 5, if numbered, but that's just a guess. I wouldn't call it a sequel if and that is a big IF its connected, it's more a prequel.
