Heist movie? Alright now I'm interested.
I feel kinda bad for Peyton Reed. If the movie is successful, people will chalk it up to Edgar Wright's script, early art direction, etc. If it's a flop, people will just say, "See? Shouldn't have fired Edgar Wright!". I don't think he can win.
These early impressions aren't exactly filling me with confidence. One review said the after credit scene is the highlight, another wants to friendzone the film, and a third said it's bad.
I wouldn't be marinating any crows just yet.
I actually haven't seen Ultron yet lol was it really that bad?

I liked it when I saw it, but honestly I've been forgetting that it happened. It definitely isn't as good as I first thought it was.I actually haven't seen Ultron yet lol was it really that bad?

If it had DC in front of the title card Gaffers would be making a thread about how shit it was every week for years.
It's best if people go in fresh for this. Yeah, presecreening reviews give a hint to films like Furious 7 and Kingsman but I believe some said Ultron and Jurassic was good too.

Prescreening previews are given to sites that generally favor comic book movies or blockbusters in general. The marketing department does a good job of selecting who to go watch it.
Funny thing is when I saw Winter Soldier the dude from Marvel said they purposely invited some people that didn't like the first Cap movie. That's how much faith they had in the film.
I think that was a deliberate part of their marketing as well. They were trying hard to differentiate the two Captain America films, so inviting critics who didn't like the first one seems to be a good way to get early word out that it's a totally different type of movie.
It's pretty good, not as solid as the first Avengers but more action packed.I actually haven't seen Ultron yet lol was it really that bad?
As time passes, I feel this to be less and less true. I dislike AoU more and more each time I think about it. It's a funny thing. Like, when I watched Tomorrowland, they played the Ant-Man trailer, and I was discussing with a friend if it would be better than AoU, and we both agreed that it probably would be because "that wouldn't be hard".

It was pretty bad and the end part was literally copied from Superman Returns

While others say it's not bad as it is forgettable, I think it's just bad:
- Doesn't even try to be a film that glues Phase 2 together
- Invalidates every film to come before it
- Some films have plot holes, but this film has PLOT HOLES that are not even explained at all beyond "this needs to happen"
- Characters are just in this film because it's an Avengers film

I enjoyed Ultron more than avengers 1. Sorry everyone.
The fools at Marvel. If only just let Edgar Wright do his thing. I have no doubt it would have rivalled Nolan for best comic book film.
