First U.S. case of deadly MERS virus confirmed: CDC

According to the ministry of health we have 495 confirmed recorded cases nation-wide since September 2012, 152 of which were fatal. That's a 30% mortality rate, which is lower than last year's 49%.

The most alarming statistic is that 150 of these recorded cases were within the last 30 days. Here's hoping this doesn't turn into an epidemic.
