5/5

The bottom line with a game like Twisted! is you have to play it, even if only for a few minutes. The innovative controls (did I mention the rumble?), the huge amount of microgames, and the overall quality of WarioWare Twisted! ranks it right up there with the original, far surpassing even the Nintendo DS version as the most impressive WarioWare title yet. Even those of you put off by the disappointing GameCube version best take a look at Touched!, because it'll probably be one of the best games you'll play in recent years.

Quibbles about the sheer awesomity of the GC's multiplayer aside, someone forgot to use "Replace All" when they were rewriting the Touched! review ;)

That or the mention of a disapponting Wario Ware subconsciouly brought up Touched!

There. I absolutely love the original, and the NDS followup only slightly less. And supposedly this one is better than either?! *swoon*

I'll be choosing between this and FE:TSS, and am not looking forward to the decision. I'll be on the road a lot, and feel like I want both a long-term adventure, as well as something really fun. It'll be a last-minute decision.

i nearly cancelled my fully paid preorder to fund my PSP library when they delayed it in march. thankfully i was sane enough to keep my preorder. can't wait

Crap, they come out on the same day? Pretty cool, but also a hard decision for those who will be buying just one.

Yeah; though I'm not the one currently reviewing the game, I have played a good amount of it, and it's loads of fun, and twice as good as Touched! It puts Touched! to shame, seriously...

The main reason, I think, other than the obviously increased amount of depth, is the fact that the game uses more than just the rotation technique (it couples that with button presses oftentimes) which makes for a more varied and thus much more challenging overall experience.

It should receive an excellent score, though, again, I'm not the one reviewing it, so I can't promise anything. :D

Sounds great. Can't wait.

As for Touched, it just needed more variety to it. I feel that the game would've been more 'complete' if it had a mixture of touch/spin/blow/cut/etc in every level. When I know that ALL I have to do is spin something or cut something, it takes away a lot of the randomized madness, which is what Wario Ware was always about. If they had combined every mini-game, tossed in some ones where you actually have to use one set of buttons (either the D-pad or the XYBA compass), I think people would've enjoyed it more. I would have.

Just so everyone knows Twisted is getting released a week early... start looking for it on the 16th.

Thanks for the tip! This is the only new release I'm picking up this month... the videos I saw back at the Japanese launch more or less sold it.

Ahh, good to know! Frothing demand!

Wait a tic. The 16th is a Monday, no? Nintendo NEVER releases games on Mondays... no?

Wow, if true, that's awesome. How do you know this?

IGN giving it a 9.5 is sweet, btw. Hopefully a lot of people will buy it.
