He's gone from mediocre to progressively decrepit. His entire game consists of receiving the ball on the wing and going on an aimless run before passing it back or making a cross to nobody or receiving the ball in a position too good for even him to fuck up and diving for a penalty.

he's invisible a lot since he's been playing for united. their playing style isn't really suited for him--it's very archaic--but over the last years he has turned into a prolific goalscorer as well, so in terms of goals, it doesn't matter much anymore to him.

it's a waste, though, to see a player as technically gifted playing for a team that don't play much better football than, say, stoke city or west ham or whatever. oh well.
