Arsenal's implosion was greatly exaggerated.

Not today.

Not this season.

It wasn't an implosion, but enough for me to say that this team isn't ready to win a title yet.

Didn't deliver in the tougher games and they had their tails up too.

A striker in January would change that, though.

Beating the bigger teams is not as important as not dropping points against the lower teams. We will finish the season with over 80 points if we don't drop points against lower opposition and that's not including Everton, Liverpool, Spurs, City, United, Chelsea fixtures.

Yeah but only a really really well oiled team just walks through the rest of the league, like Man United did in 09.

Arsenal aren't that good IMO. When the fixtures pile up and the squad gets stretched you'll probably drop some points to some of the weaker teams here and there.

You will need results against the teams around you and if you don't get some you won't finish above them.

Yep. We had a very good record against the top teams that year, but just tripped up 2 times too many against weaker opposition :(
