Gerrard stays on, untouchable in Liverpool, England and the media.... they all act like he is the English Messi...

Best player on the planet shouldn't choke in the semi-finals (at least one could have that opinion). Ronaldo is great, but he shouldn't get a free pass for the (somewhat) disappointing overall performance of Madrid in the past years.

In these discussions people always pretend that Madrid has an abysmal squad, ignoring that against both Dortmund and Bayern Ronaldo wasn't exactly world class. He's shown twice now that he might not have the mind set to bring his best when it matters most. That might just be a coincidence, but it's something that shouldn't be ignored.

Still, a great player, but all those stats mean nothing when you win jack shit in the end. Fantastic player nonetheless and a worthy winner, but let's not ignore his flaws. Maybe this year things will be different, we'll see. He reminds me a bit of LeBron in the 2011 finals.

But he had a dominating performance against Sweden. It's not easy when you have the tag as the most expensive player in the world and everyone expects you to carry RM to la decima. Ribery has no pressures.

Finally Tottiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii time

Well, he scored the 4-1 against us which was very important and almost helped Madrid reach the final. I mean, sure, he could/should have scored more goals. But in a CL semi final, you're playing against the best and it's not easy to score 3 or 4 goals in two matches. Especially when you have great coaches like Klopp and Piszczek, one of the best RBs, playing against you.
