Why do Spurs sign players and dont even give them a decent run in their side.

Holtby, Gylfi, Lamela all wasted. Holtby could have been a decent backup for Eriksen better than Gylfi atleast.

Lamela has been injured for more than a month. He started Sherwood's first league game but has had a thigh problem since then. Gylfi has started all the league games he was fit for under Sherwood except away at Swansea where he played for half an hour.

It appears that Lamela will be playing more down the middle and will be back-up for Eriksen. Sherwood also thinks Chadli can play there. Basically the players we bought for the wings have ended up being more suited to playing CAM. That's why we were interested in Konoplyanka.

You don't think Sherwood will last beyond this season?

Holtby is a good player, I was a bit surprised you let him go, has he had a consistent run in the side?

Sherwood definitely won't be here in the summer, unless something incredible happens. He just doesn't have the experience.

Holtby is good and I didn't really want to loan him but when he's been in the team he's not really done much in the PL. We will see now whether he is good enough to play for a top 6 side.

The day Bayern doesnt give 100% is the day when Pep sacks you out of the squad. Mandzukic and Kroos are witnessing this right now. Dont think that as long as Pep is the boss, that there will be some kind motivation problems. Sure, we might lose one in the next few weeks but it will be a defeat like against City.
