Buttner excellent, kept Robben very quiet
Carrick was positionally perfect and played some wonderful balls out on the break
Welbeck worked his bollocks off BUT FUCKING HELL YOU SHOULD HAVE SCORED THERE DANNY
Kagawa pressed really well when he came on which helped us immeasurably

I'm not sure if anyone would have saved it. A better keeper would have not had such a big gap between him and the post but to be fair who the fuck expects a player to shoot from that angle and distance these days? It was a surprise shot.
His positional play in the goal was bad and thus made it impossible for him to make the save.

Heynckes' Bayern had the same problem in their first season. Instead of complaining about others teams putting an all defensive tactic, he worked during the whole summer to find a way around it (and other flaws his Bayern side had in the 1st season).
Guardiola on the other side, wants the rival to play normally against him. Complains about them when it isn't the case
