There'll be at least a couple of surprises over the next two days, transfers that no one saw coming. Should be fun.........

It sounds exactly like just before Agent49 outed himself. Journalists tend to never have the decency to out themselves as as the trolls they are though.

Hoping for City to finalize Nastasić today, let's not drag it out.

I can take 2 wins in a row in August. I can accept a thrashing win in a league cup in August. What I can not accept as an Everton fan is to have a 100% record with 9 goals scored in 3 games in August.

WTF is going on? Who are you and what have you done to Everton? I have not signed up to be fan for this shit.

Even I'd be weirded out if my team - who are notoriously wank at the beginning of every season - suddenly laid the smackdown on teams at every turn from the off. :P

You've got yourself a class strike force in Jelavic, Mirallas and Naismith. Europa League spot is definitely yours IMO.

CL for them.

Relegation for us.

I am not getting carried away, but... I really wanna say it.

However, coming back down to earth, I do wonder now. Don't we do well after January every year because we haven't bothered to play at all and therefore there is no tiredness or exhaustion to affect our play as opposed to say Chelsea who do well in the start and start getting worse and worse as the season goes on? I wonder If we play so well now, what happens when we get tired? Surely we can't play every game like we did against Man United?

Probably not but I think you'll still play to a standard that could give any team a run for their money, especially at home. Winning your first match of the season against Man Utd will serve as an immense confidence booster for a while at least. Fun times ahead for Everton fans.

Do away goals count in the Europa qualifiers? i.e. as they do in later stages of the CL.

Meh, I'm not afraid of Barcelona. Bayern play more or less like Barcelona (in terms of system/overall strategy --> ball possession, both have the van Gaal seed) and we managed to beat them 5 times in a row.
In some games in the past two seasons we played a textbook version of reactive football (aka. anti-Barca football).
Now obviously Barca have some individuals that could bring about a victory all by themselves, but then there's also Valdes who can also bring about a defeat all by himself.
I really don't think they'd outright destroy us like they did Leverkusen last season.

So my new PS3 has arrived. What do I do with my old one? If I do a system restore to restore it back to default, it says it will restore even the PSN ID and password? Can someone elaborate on that?

Basically I want to restore my old PS3 so nothing's on it but I don't want to lose my PSN account. Or will my PSN account still remain irrelevant of what I do. As for the downloaded items, I can just get them off my account anyway to redownload them on my new PS3.

So yeah, anyone in the know here? Cheers.

Why don't you just hook them up together via an Ethernet cable and copy everything from old PS3 to new one? That way you lose absolutely nothing.

It shouldn't do anything to your PSN account, but you will need to deactivate the console afterwards.

Meh. I've deleted pretty much everything anyway so it's too late for that. I'll just re-download anything I've bought off the PSN store on to my new PS3. I just don't want my whole account to be deleted if I'm doing a system restore. Providing a system restore even does that. If it doesn't but wipes the whole console clean (and I can sign in to my PSN account on my new PS3), then that's good.

You can sign into your PSN account on any PS3. It's just a login/password that's required.

However go into your account management settings on your old PS3 and deactivate your console.

Then login to your new PS3 and download the stuff you want.

Sounds simple enough, thanks.

Didn't except Liverpool to be that high.

(United spent £80m in 2002 on Van Nistelrooy, Veron, Rio, Forlan, not accounted for)

How soon for the CL draw? I don't want Dortmund or Juventus to get paired with us.. Or PSG for that matter.

Wouldn't you want PSG right now though? They have the potential, obviously, but so far they've been pretty shite. It'll probably take them a while to get going.

Valencia winger Pablo Hernandez will join Swans for around €7m, he will sign a three-year deal at the Liberty http://swns.se/QVU5DG #swans

I imagine this will allow Sinclair to leave.

Adriano is a shite player by Barca standards

He is a very good squad player for LB/LM/LW but dreadful, like seriously horrible at right-back. I'd have Alves, Montoya, Puyol ahead of him for RB. His first game for us was at RB and it was just so bad to watch. Leftback he has been good almost every time(except CDR final when Ronaldo easily jumped over him to score)

dat loyalty!

I remember watching that Snoop Dogg sorry Snoop Lion TV show that was on E!(lol), he was watching La Liga matches and hung out with David Beckham, apparently a big football fan. Found that pretty funny.

Has there been any news on what happened to Dani Alves?

Don't know yet but I just want to say I am very proud of our players :) put up a great fight with 1 man down for nearly 70 minutes against one of the best teams in their home stadium.

Also new MGS ! :D There's a series I can never get enough of. Can't wait for all of them to release lol.

And CL draw is on just in a couple hours? I thought it was on tomorrow. Awesome, hopefully we get Dortmund, Man City and Juve.

New PS3 all set up and ready to go. Painless.

I feel like puking every 10 minutes though. Dunno what's wrong with my stomach. PROBABLY MUPPET SEASON HOTTING UP.

Shit. Incredibly surprised we made it this far, especially after that start. Our womens squads are improving by bounds and leaps.
They played with balls, man. Unlike the fuckers at the senior men's team. There's not much you can expect from them considering how little support they get from FEMEXFUT. My biggest worry is that this tournament's performance will be a fluke and not a sign of better times. Women's football won't get far in this country until is starts to be taken seriously.

I think the best thing we can take from this is that we have a good pool for the upcoming World Cups. Santiago was amazing, Rangel keeps on beasting, Franco revolutionised the offence when she came in, Huerta is a consistent threat in front of goal, and that number three whose name I forgot looked like Hiram Mier if Mier had boobs. I don't even think they had a bad match, that game versus Japan included. It's encouraging to see the little guys and girls actually sweat the shirt.

Sammer does not stop being awesome.

When introducing Martinez now, he doesn't let himself get lured into discussions of the recent events, no matter how often the journalists ask. He says "only talking about the sport here".

Also, he said Martinez is not meant to wow the audience right away like a Ribery or Robben. They bought him for the long-term.

Love how Sammer is trying to take pressure away from Martinez.

Ready for the CL draw now.
