The chances of that happening are very good, although Spurs is coming in aggressively to persuade him to join them.

His wife and children are completely settled in London, why would he up and move especially now that Arsenal have shown we're more than capable of winning things this season if he wasn't being offered a significantly better deal. If City offered the same deal Arsenal did he'd have stayed at Arsenal. 1st choice RB, don't have to uproot your family, achieve club legend status and chance to win more trophies (if we're as lucky with injuries as Liverpool were with their key players, we'd mount a much better title challenge).

Everton would be wise to pick up Barry permanently. Lescott could still do a great job. I honestly think he was almost as good as Kompany in 11/12, but people tend to ignore Kompany's mistakes. Demichelis got a lot more flak than him this year, but was easily better in the run in.
I don't think Lambda misses us at all. I miss him. He'll be a great father.

Bendtner! I hope an EPL manager is stupid enough to sign him; we must not lose this gift to Juventus.
City were paying crazy money left and right back then to help build the team up. Milner's fee was massive as well. Lescott did play 150+ games for the club and helped us win the title in 11/12 so ultimately I'd say it was a successful transfer even if we paid too much.
Still funny to imagine he cost about the same as Yaya and Silva.
Barry only cost £12m so it was more like £34 on the two of them. I think Barry's fee was actually pretty reasonable. His wages were too high of course but that was par for the course. If Everton sign him permanently, they'll have to pay us £2.5m and they paid a loan fee as well this season so that's nice.
Fuck that fucking louse little cunt. I don't want him near Everton even if we get paid stupendous amount of money.

Cant wait to see who is cut from United, its sad I know and I feel for those who do BUT it would be a statement of intent going forward. Part of me thinks very few and alot of the underperformers wont move.

He was proper boss for Everton tbf, and that's when City were throwing money at any player who'd had a decent season once in their career
No surprise with Eto'o given his repeated comments about Mourinho. Lampard is definitely a little bit of a shock. I wonder where he'll end up? MLS or stay in England? He could easily start for a number of lower-half PL teams.
