I'm not very excited tbh, just nervous. Would be much, much more confident with just one of Sterling and Sturridge. As improved as the squad is, today's front 3 have yet to prove that they can step in effortlessly. Not to mention Villa's recent record at Anfield.
At least Vlaar and Benteke are out I guess.

I still can't believe it. Defensively we aren't great but we were the same last season before xmas and Jose tightened up because we couldn't score. You can see he's just employing the same tactics we had then because he knows that Costa is a fucking beast.
Tactically, the City game next week will be interesting. I'd be happy with 4-3-3, Ramires was better than he's been for a while (bare in mind I didn't see the Everton game so he may have been good there too but overall its an improvement) so Matic, Cesc and Rami would be a good move.
