Reading this, its fucking ridiculous

England: Chelsea set to prevent Gary Cahill from attending meeting

Chelsea are likely to prevent defender Gary Cahill from attending an England meeting this month, BBC Sport understands.
The players will meet at St George's Park, probably on a Thursday, to discuss the 2015 schedule.
Chelsea are thought to be opposed to the idea because they play Liverpool in a two-legged League Cup semi-final on Tuesday 20 and 27 January.
Tottenham face Sheffield United in the other semi-final on 21 and 28 January.
According to the Daily Telegraph, England manager Roy Hodgson hopes to persuade clubs that players will be required for only a few hours and would be free to leave by 22:00 GMT.

At the moment, there are week long breaks between matches for the league after the festive reason. Perhaps if Roy engaged his brain and picked a better time to do it we wouldnt have any problems. Our schedule is infinitely more important than this stupid meet up and if he isn't going to pick a reasonable time for players/clubs then its his own fault.

I hope Jose puts his foot down even if Cahill isn't in the first team (although I suspect he'll be back by then)

Bough a bottle of Muga Reserva, Lomo de Bellota, Chuletas de Lechal and Bonito del Norte with red peppers.

Thank you so much for the kind words, guys.
My grandfather actually played football in the Angolan League when he was young and still living in Angola. He once faced a young talented striker, he said it was the most difficult player he played against in his short career as a CB. That player's name? Eusebio.

Woah

FORZA SPORTING

Not sure who I want to win El Nuevo Clasico. Think Barca are more likely to go the distance, and the most important thing is that Real don't win La Liga. But I much prefer Atletico.

And with the points gap already, a draw isn't a good result for my priorities :p

I'd be so much more confident of a push for 4th if we hadn't thrown it away against Leicester. That 2 point difference is huge.

Was that Luis Garcia in the Sky studio?

Sporting is lining up with this 11 for the match against Braga.

Rui Patricio, Cedric, Mauricio, P.Oliveira, Jefferson, William, Adrien, João Mário, Carrilo, Nani and Montero

This would always be a big match for me but when I woke up this morning I never could imagine that it would have an huge emotional impact in me. My grandfather was the one who made me so interested in Sporting, he was a huge fan and I started following them because of him. There was a point in my life where I lived with my grandparents and the match day was always exciting. Most of the times he didn´t want me to watch the game with him because all my fussing around and complaining to the TV made him even more nervous so he would stay in the living room and I would go to another TV near his bedroom but every time Sporting scored we would run to each other, hug it out in the middle of the corridor and then we would back to our respective spots for the rest of the match.
Due to me living more than 1000 kms away and some family discussions between me and my grandmother, we drifted apart a bit. I last talked to him 4 months ago and all though things weren´t all fixed up between us, he was so happy to be talking to me and told me how much he loved me.
Earlier today, my father told me he had bad news for me...I couldn´t believe it at first, I rushed to the computer and searched for it on the internet...The news articles kept popping up but I still couldn´t believe it. I turned the TV on and searched through the recording of the news until it appeared on the screen. There it was, my grandparents apartment and a fire truck on the outside. I kept reading the headline over and over again : "86 old man died in a fire in his bedroom"...
5 hours and I´m still a bit shocked. It´s surreal opening news sites and seeing that news on almost all of them.
I´ll be sitting down in a bit to watch the match, hoping that he would be there sitting with me. Today there won´t be cheers in the goals, no more hugs in the middle of the corridor...
Every Sporting match will feel a bit more special now, it was one of the things that bonded us and I have so many great memories of Sporting matches with him.

Thank you for everything, grandfather.
I love you
May he rest in peace. Sincere condolences.

Holy shit, my condolences mate :(

Messi, Neymar and Suarez

All of that ability and threat, and none of them are ever in the middle occupying the centrebacks when Barca are building an attack

Think Atletico will win this.

Speaking of Torres I watched a YouTube video that was basically a recap of all his Liverpool goals.

What a player he was.

No their Dutch dude skied it

Maybe he isn't fit for Allegri's tactics, whatever the fuck they are.

Maybe, but Zaza does the same type of dirty work for Sassuolo, only he does 10x better, because unlike Llorente he fucking moves and backtracks. Llorente is just ... there.
