Gomez hasn't been the same since he went on the David Letterman show and tried to wrestle the interviewer after being axed from BTTF2

"Preston North End are delighted to announce the loan signing of Manchester United goalkeeper Sam Johnstone"

Welcome, what club do I support, etc.

MUFC fans - what's he like?

He's better than our other keeper, Ben Amos at least. I haven't seen him play in a while so I'm not sure about his current level.

edit: Also I'm pretty sure he just finished a loan elsewhere right?

double edit: Eyes Wide Shut is such a great movie. Very slow paced, but aftter 30 minutes or so it picks up.

£32m for a kid not even capped by his country.

The world has gone mad.

Smalling, Jones, Evans. 32 million pounds is a bargain if he we never have to see these degenerates again. If I were van Gaal i'd be desperate enough to bring back Vidic and Rio lol. They only have to play one game a week from now til May. Never seen Laporte play but we need defenders. We should of got Garay.

Doncaster. He was actually there but we recalled them, only to loan him to Preston.

The rumour is it's a loan with a view to permanent which could go up to £1 mil with international bonuses etc.

We had Declan Rudd for ages so we've be spoiled for keepers. Glad he's good enough to stop 25 yard freekicks from Walsall.

Can someone please give us a CM now please thanks.

"What an absolutely sensational time to be a live" etc.

sensational mental gymnastics.
I don't think you'll find many non-Juventini that won't raise their eyebrows at some of the decisions. Even moreso when you consider that every debatable call went one direction: for Juve.

I'm not saying that's why we lost, but it is understandably frustrating. I'm realistic enough in the end to know that we wouldn't have even been in the position to need these calls if we had been actually putting the ball in the back of the net. We squandered our opportunities, and Juventus didn't. The score line reflects that.

Heh, reading the Barca v Ateltico reactions looks like a missed quite a fun match. Sorry Prinny :p

Hell no. Vidic and Rio can't even get in their own teams, why would you want them back? They are not who they were, not by a long shot.

Laporte is decent, but he is just another #prospect, hardly what United need to plug the massive hole. Garay's move to Russia is another one that baffles me, together with Valbuena (Valbuena's age might be more of a factor, but Garay is 28). Both had decent World Cups, both were available for cheap and both seemed like good reinforcements for teams who wanted to have them, yet no one moved for them.

This is pretty on point, although the timing to do these observations is quite obvious, so there's hardly any new insight in the article. I think Falcao has been heavily misused, but even if he's not enough for this team and he can't regain his form, the focus of criticism on him is insane when the philosophy has failed elsewhere time and time again. He is just a symptom and I feel LVG, who has the know how and temperament to manage a club of this stature, is simply being too stubborn about United's real needs.

Would Sissoko be a good addition for us? Haven't seen too much of him in all honesty. I'm from Newcastle but barely watch their games, mate says hes decent though.
He's good. Good tackler and I think he could be decent for us at the right price.

a good all rounder. He's played at DM, CM, in a more box to box role. Reckon hed be interesting playing alongside ramsey.

Rio? Are you fucking kidding me.

A dead cat would be a better defender than the current Leo. At least that could trip strikers trying to get into the box.

I'm actually one of the few who understands his frustration (I think I posted about it a page later) but that Buffon foul was clearly a foul, even your defender was laughing about it :lol

Forget Caceres being marginally offside, Chiellini clearly was and he kinda was involed in the play so fair enough

We do get decisions against us as well, and we used to complain about it when we dropped points in the Conte era lol

Everyone gets decisions against them; that's football. I think everyone understands that. I think it's also pretty clear that ADL's statements on twitter were hyperbolic and enflamed immediately after such a dispiriting defeat. And Rafa - well, he's Rafa; and he could also just be trying to salvage his job.

Honestly, the worst comments I've seen after the match came from Allegri. Such an arrogant hypocrite.

People are still pissed about that Juve - Napoli match? :|
We'll be bitter until we lose to Lazio, then we'll commit seppuku.

Loooooool that face

Honestly, I don't even bother with our pre or post match comments, it makes my stomach turn :lol and this includes our players with the exception of Buffon, who genuinely speaks his mind and isn't a fucking sock puppet

ADL can say whatever he wants as far as I'm concerned, fucking love him to bits :lol and I realise he enjoys a bit of playing to the gallery sometimes

Messi is the best player I've ever seen in my lifetime. And probably the GOAT.

Neuer is the one who deserves it this time round.

But Ronaldo will win the Ballon D'or.

Neuer is the best keeper in the world, no doubt, but what did he actually do last season that was deserving of the Ballon Door.

Ronaldo was instrumental in winning La Decima for Madrid. Putting Bayern to the sword in a humiliating fashion along the way, let's not forget.

Bayern won the Bundesliga.

I love Messi, but he stopped being the best player in the world two seasons ago

It was probably Barca's fault

now it's all about Berardi

Well he won the WC too and had a number of good performances there as well.

But I've not seen anyone make a cogent analysis of why he should really win it compared to what Ronaldo is doing on the pitch every week.

I think you're forgetting the small matter of the world cup.
