Everton XI: Robles, Baines, Jagielka, Stones, Coleman, Barry, Besic, Barkley, Naismith, McGeady, Lukaku.

We lost the game before it even started.
Good job Martinez you bellened!

Can Baines stop taking the corners? I can't remember the last time he took a decent one, let alone one that lead to a goal.

What are you doing, Stones?

It could be worse. City have gone 123 (!!) corners in a row in the league without scoring. We are just absolutely dreadful at them and have been for years now.

You are not getting Coleman, but its good to dream. I do that all the time.

This is our chance. Lets win it guys!

If you want to generate cash to buy players, selling a RB is a good way to make money without creating a big massive hole in the team.

Selling Baines would make more sense mind since he's older and would probably be at his peak sell price right now while Coleman's might go up.

Are you officially #MartinezOUT?

We've bought Kevin Foley and loaned (with option to buy Bjørn Sigurdarson, both from Wolves. We have become Wolverhamptons reserve team.

Also that was a weak fucking ban mods, soft fucking shit, it was the truth and by the look of the thread while I have been banned, it has only gotten worse.

Everton look clueless on how they're going to breakdown this Hammers defense. It's only time now until West Ham score.

I think Baines's stock has fallen this year. His peak value was when United were in full on spend mode and hasn't finalized Shaw yet.

I would actually love to sell Baines. Of course we can not sell him at a higher value anymore, but he have regressed in his playstyle, not having Pianaar around have affected his confidence, injury prone and his dead ball skills have been less effective, but selling him would be great. Not only would it give is some budget to improve the squad with, and will pave the wave for Luke Garbutt (a very talented LV, some say more talent than Barkley) to actually have some playtime. But thats not gonna happen.

Coleman is part of the future. Of course, if we get a good money for him, then we have to, but I still think he is one of the leaders in the new generation that is coming up.

No I am not MartinezOUT yet. I am willing to give him longer time, its just I am pissed off at some of the decisions he makes.

Huh?

we had good couple of chances. If it weren't for sloppy plays, we would have been goal up.

Someones going to score soon, if West Ham do it'll be hard for Everton to get back into this.

Should Everton score I think West Ham could come back.

Yeah his stocks fallen but I think you could get a decent price tbh.

Yeah Baines has regressed pretty hard but I still believe he's worth quite a bit.

Garbutt is going to Liverpool m8 ;)

Yeah Martinez does make some daft choices, I think who he buys in the coming summer will show a lot. If he just buys some cheap players to replace the old guard then he's simply trying to establish himself in mid-table or Europa League. If he goes big on a few players he could maybe go hard on the Champions League again (it's probably a big maybe but I hope he tries :)).

Hi, Wooden. Welcome back and all that. Everyone agreed that it was a questionable ban.

Let us never speak of the New Days Massacre again...

I am really worried about Martinez and budget. Most of his buys have been flop so far and the price he have spent on Lukaku have been more of an eye raiser than anything else. I don't know what to expect from him soon. BUt I still think the fault lies on his players, specifically with his old ones. Jagielka and Distin (and Barry as well) have been shit in the last few weeks.

Welcome back, wooden you daft animal!

This page has slowed to a crawl due to the gif overload and Chrome. Poor Chrome.

This is pretty great -- from Roma's owner (an American!) in response to some comments from Lazio's owner:

Lotito continues to make foolish and ignorant statements about our club's economics. Next time I come to Rome I will attempt to educate him on our strong and profitable financial position as I would speak to a young child (speaking slowly with as many one syllable words as possible). If he still can’t figure it out, I give it up.
