4-0 to Bradford, wow. Poor Holloway. That's really not the result you should get if you're the manager of Millwall and have just dropped into the relegation zone in the championship. Ollie, you're probably getting sacked but I still like you.

When the best examples for comparison he can come up with are Toni Schumacher, Rene Higuita and Jan Jongbloed, that's pretty telling though. For the record, I think what's very different is simply that Neuer is (quite often) almost a libero and much more active in the way he's involved in the game than many previous goalkeepers were, see e.g. Kahn or Casillas.

It's not a completely new and never-seen-before feat, but it's extremely different from most what I've seen in the past decades. Obviously though, that is also to a significant extent because he plays for a team that can make use of his skills. It's a symbiosis: He's playing only like this (and very well) because he's in a good team, but then the team is also playing only like this because of him.

That said, I think it's weird the author completely ignores how Neuer's abilities have shaped Bayern's play style and also omits some of Neuer's weaknesses (e.g. corner kicks). I don't even think he's all that wrong, but it's still weird. Heck, I don't even think Neuer should've been among the top 3 this year, should've been Lahm. Interesting article though, thanks for the link.

Wanted Millwall, but really can't complain. These cups draws across the board have been favorable for us.

And I was big on us going in for Cavani before Costa came together. I still rate him and think he would do well in England.

Have watched a little of this Soton-Ipswich game. Ipswich have played well, easy to see why they're right there fighting for first place.

Can we 'Azard then? You can have Lennon or Ade.

Saw a vague rumour that he's a target or whatever. I doubt we want him though since we've got enough strikers lined up. But I need to know if this guy is legit if there are rumours.
He's alright in the Premier League which means he'd be GOAT in the Eredivisie

Scored a good number of goals last year in the 2nd division and is towards the top of the scoring charts in the PL this year (edit: looks like he is tied for 18th). He's young too so it's probably only a matter of time until a bigger club in England snags him.

Ulloa would be the kind of guy that would probably be happy to go to a team like Ajax for Champions League football, but I doubt you'd buy someone that "old."

Show us the proof of where those of us that rate him didn't rate him before m8.

Wooden, serie a gaf and I have always rated him.

Same people that don't want him now are Probably same people that pointed and laughed.

Yea, maybe. It might've been another United fan. I remember Wilbur rated him so it isn't him.

It was about the time he was linked with Arsenal and even Chelsea supporters were keen on him. I didn't differentiate any of you back then :p All the banter made you all look the same.

I see now Spurs are interested too, that explains the reactions :lol

It would be such a joy if we can finally meet Spurs in official games some time.

We do buy old players from to time to add some experience to the team. But at the moment we have Milik as our striker. And Zivkovic lined up as his replacement. We'll be in the market for a third striker once Siggy is out the door, and knowing Overmars he's going to find a cheap one nobody ever heard of.

When I said Premier League I meant Premier League quality. Not that he's staying in the Premier League. Although he almost certainly is.

"Palmero have issued a hands off warning to Manchester United over the future of forward Paulo Dybala. #MUFC"

Wooden

We are coming for him.

In the summer he'll be ours.

I know Dybala is most likely gone in the summer, but it's most likely bullshit United are in for him. Zamparini just doing his thing of mentioning a big team or two with lots of money, demanding 1000million and half a country for a player, just to sell him for 20mil to France.
