Football Thread 2014/2015 |OT11| This Is Our Year!

I thought you all hated Moyes in England. Now that he plays in best Liga you love him? Leave our Spanish moyesus alone. You had your chance.
We don't hate him as a person, we just hate him for his stupid decisions he made as a manager.

Most of us hate how he was fired, and we have been rooting for him ever since he start managing at Sociedad.

Caught up with the FAYC game.

RoShaun Williams played really well. Calls for him to be pushed up to u21's already, maybe by the end of the season.

One to keep an eye on amongst the next crop.

I was impressed with Gribbin and Fosu-Mensah the most. Fosu-Mensah always looks class. Good technique, great at tackling, can pass, and is very athletic. I can easily see him as a future cb or a cm.

They have a japanese kid in their ranks

I would LOVE to see Denis Cheryshev back in our ranks next season, after all he's still on loan. He is number 2 on the top assist list, equal with Messi. And he have really grown into a mature and pacy winger, and he helps out a lot defensively.

I say it. Bring him back Carlo! And bring back Casemiro too.

I loved watching that. Is LVG doing much better? I haven't been following the EPL this year.

I guess I can't see a scenario where Atletico don't score tomorrow. So Madrid have an uphill battle.

Things have turned on van Gaal in the past few weeks. Was getting away with wins on weaker performances but it's caught up. last 5 games have been 1 win 3 draws and a loss all while the team has been getting healthier.

At least van Gaal threw out some of the trash and was able to bring players in. Moyes wasn't willing to cut dead weight and had a tough time bringing players in. Woodwards inexperience didn't help. Also the results against the big clubs have been better which have helped Gaal. he got a victory over Liverpool and played well against City despite being a man down. Moyes had the same early results and Arsenal and Chelsea but lost to Pool and got crushed by City IIRC.

Moyes completely went to shit in January and beyond. So there was no improvement as he got more time.

How is Michu doing? Still in Swansea? I'm not following them, I just wonder why City wanted Bony instead of Michu after I saw his breakthrough season under Laudrup.

Michu is much older and injury prone. He's on loan at Napoli and doing absolutely nothing. Probably would have cost £6-8m if sold I'd imagine.

Ordered that laptop

If it's shit, Quiche is a dead man

Was tempted to buy one for £100 less, with small downgrades across the board, but fuck it.

I did say get a second opinion. If you are just using to watch videos and normal browsing it will be more than enough. good luck!

what laptop?
Quiche hypes shit like FIFA 15. don't believe his lies

FIFA 15 is wank. PES 15 isn't any better.

Michu did fuck all last season, and is doing even less this season afaik

That Bony clause pretty much confirms that he's not in the first 11. Stupid move for him if so.

We love Moyes, only Man Utd fans hate him and its an "in awe of his resilient mediocrity" kind of hate. He's a very decent manager.

I hope we sign Winston Reid and the Australian keeper as well. We'd have heaps of sick cunts in our back line!

We need to get Scum a tag for his awesome transfer gossip reporting. Maybe like "FootyGaf's Perez Hilton"

I'm not sure how accurate Football Manager is, but every player has a per game bonus in the game and most of them are very high at big clubs. I don't usually play as City but I know the big name players were getting $30k+ per game. We do know that players get end of year bonuses in general, but it's obviously a bit murky how it all works out. City have switched to an incentive-based system for the most part.. lots of base wages are quite a bit lower. Aguero is on a basic wage of £150k a week now for instance.

Pls Meier, I know he is going to be really good. He has been having a fantastic season. I just like teasing Dan. I even did some live scouting for him at the recent Barca vs Sevilla game. Dan wanted plenty of photos of him.

It's a sore spot, okay. :( How did the photos turn out?

So, what happens if Arsenal sign Hummels and Gundogan?

They become the British copy of the German national team?
They become Dortmund 1/2?
They still get 4th in the league?
Dortmund gets relegated?
They make Bayern mad for buying Bundesliga players?

Who knows?
