Chelsea didn't even look like Top 4 contenders before this formation change. Credit to Conte, he's assessed the issues and addressed them.

Really impressed with how fast Conte was able to get Chelsea back to their best, after the Liverpool and Arsenal games they looked so mediocre and a level below both, but instead of bitching and blaming everyone else, Conte decided to try something different, and Chelsea look unstoppable now. Still early, but this is shaping up to be an incredibly close season.

lol did Pep have a melt down earlier? I've been busy today and didn't get to see the whole game. Kept thinking bet you borough equalise.

Also Chelsea are beast form right now. Don't worry though if Conte slips again it'll be all about how he's getting sacked -_-

Hard not to get excited after that performance, didn't see that coming at all.

That being said, best to keep our feet on the ground. See how we fare against Spurs and City.

Newcastle march on. 8 wins on the bounce in all competitions I believe. I wish Brighton would slip up though, hah.

Good shit from Chelsea also. Love Conte.

Meanwhile the fraud has 1 win in 6 games

Let's not get carried away. We ALWAYS ran less than the opposition. That's the nature of possession based tactic. Just let the ball run.
Midfield is our weakest part right now and that's because of Vidal. He is out of shape and it looks like he carries hinself over the time. It really shows what a beast he was last season.
Müller and lewa are strange. Müller started to play like this since april. He suddenly began to lose confidence in himself. Things he was known for like nerves of steel were suddenly thrown out of window (penalty, finish,...).

We need to get back to a classic 4-2-3-1. With Gegenpressing and no more alonso.

So will liverpool and or arsenal finally clinch the no.1 spot. Until the end of the year the schedule looks quite comfortable for liverpool sans the match against mancity

And no Müller.
Sacrificing a world class midfielder for this guy got us out in 3 semis back to back.

We need two attacking wingers with pace, one striker and 3 midfielders. Carlo is a bit too careful with feelings of some of our stars. Even benching Müller for 3 games didn't help him to at least become more aggressive, he just continues to play like a guy from 6th division.
Coman and Kimmich need to play in the starting 11 for Alonso and Müller.

We've got Spurs today, then United then PSG. In less than 3 weeks we'll have a better idea of whether or not this Arsenal team is the real deal.

Yep Yep Yep

And just give Müller a long break. Totally overplayed.

what a clusterfuck

Same old problem arises for City. Create loads but can't put the ball away, they must have a piss poor shot to goal ratio this season. Was hoping that would have changed this year, maybe that Brazilian kid can add something come Jan.
