Football Thread 2016/17 |OT| Mou Money Mo Pogba

Good win. Nice to see goals coming from set pieces. Lot of wasteful passes and lost balls in bad areas on the pitch that we need to work on. Mata, Rashford, Pogba, Blind and Bailly were great today. Zlatan was a bit wasteful and really should've put a few away. Leicester didn't really look all that great in the back or going forward but that kid Gray looked real good after coming on as a sub.

Great win, great effort today. Hopefully the critics lighten up a bit now. Mou finally got the team right, keep Rooney nailed to the bench.

LC missing Kante quite a bit though. Forget Vardy and whoever else, that's one guy they should never have let go. Their defense is miserable now.

Zlatan should have scored but I thought he had a good overall game. Instead of just trying to lump it into him thought he was much more involved with the midfield and wide players. Let's hope mata (or mkhitaryan) continue to get games at the 10. Who would have thought it would take 5 seasons and 4 managers to play a true 10 in his right position.

I agree Zlatan did quite well except scoring the goal (which is important)
Pogba was brilliant and his partnership with Herrera was good. Blind was also fantastic.

But I am not sure these things (Herrera - Pogba and Blind leftback) would work against opposition with better form. Like if we played Liverpool with this team, things would have been much different.
Still, it was great first half and hopefully We don't see Rooney in starting lineup again (other than useless cup games)

Despite their decent start, this is exactly what we expected from Hull this season.

3-1 though, David Meyler.
