I think with Ancelotti wanted to play it wide with guys like Alaba, Müller and Kimmich, as we have seen with the countless crosses.

But that makes you wide open for counterattacks. Paris might be good at those.

While we are at it, Bayern needs more players like Vidal. Their body language was abysmal, zero intensity.

Premier League clubs block big six’s bid for bigger share of TV cash | By @david_conn https://t.co/xsQlaNwmrS

Fuck that shit
All it is suggesting is making the internationally derived money distributed the same as the domestic money.

Domestic money gets split up so that some is offered based on league position and times shown on TV, while a chunk is split equally.

International money is all distributed equally.

Aa the international money has gone up drastically the teams that are driving it want it to be split to each same as the domestic money, apparently.

Though this seems to have Ben out forward by Scudamore and not those teams.

What a match. Morata is a superstar. And Bats, holy sh*t what a supersub. The final sequence was awesome. Chelsea dominated ATM at their home, goddamn.

Now we wait for City. That should be an awesome match. 3-5-2 FTW.

Neuer gonna be back in January tho right
With the history of this injury he had and Bayerns terrible medical support I expect the worse. Problem is that we lose many points in Bundesliga and might get kicked out of the league cup in a couple of weeks. This season might be over by February.

Walked away with a record to boot, being the first team to beat Atletico in their new stadium. Just a brilliant match.

Indeed. Chelsea totally dominated the opposition at their home. They looked like they're actually the home team.

I also feeling tons of anxiety seeing Juventus performance yesterday though.T_T

But Juve won..

Clubs such as Andelrecht and Ajax and Aberdeen will die in the next few years and no one will give a fuck.

Meanwhile, Hull and Wigan and Burnley will reap the cash, and the empty grounds will look on and judge you, so-called experts.
Probably the releast shit ive read here in a long time. No lies detected.

So far this year is a shitshow for the Bundesliga.

Well, at least Dortmund could really win the league this time and by next year the players will have a much better understanding of the new system.

That was until 2013, when we started with possession.
I mean there is a clear pattern:

2014: CL semi 0:5 in agg. against Real
2015: CL semi 3:5 in agg. against Barca
2016: CL semi 2:2 in agg. against Atletico
2017: CL semi 3:6 in agg. against Real

75% of goals conceded resulted out of counter attacks by losing the ball either in the oppositions half or in our own. Guardiolas idea worked against 99% of all clubs that we played against, but once we made a single individual mistake a squad like Real or Barca brutally punished us. I still don't understand why we play possession against those squads that are individually far superior. Heynckes did it right 2012 against Real and 2013 against Barca where we had less possession but countered them everytime they lost the ball. He sacrificed control and pro active play for defence and quick attacks.

It's no shame to play the football of the "weak", but "control" didn't work for Barca from 2008-2011 too. Inter, Chelsea did exactly what you have to do against this kind of playstyle. PSG yesterday did what was obvious and exploited our weakness that we have for 5 years now.

You have some of the best defenders in the world, a decent defensive midfield with Vidal, Martinez and Rudy. Yet, we had three CAMs yesterday in midfield with Thiago, James and Tolisso...

Thanks for backing me up with the statistics. Its ridiculous. I dont get it either.

Our starting 11 looked like someone was bored in FIFA and just wanted to play with the big names.

In theory this could have worked but not if you concede an easy to defend goal after 80 seconds. The game went the exact opposite of what Carlo wanted. After PSG scored the first goal they just kept waiting in their half waiting for a mistake and go for attack. What hurts the most is that they played cat and mouse with us and we fell for it. They simply waited for Thiago, James and Müller to play a bad pass and paced us out and Süle and Martinez had a 1vs1 against the fastest attack in Europe...

The results since Carlo took over, but especially since pre season are alarming. We lost to every decent side since summer by a huge margin of goals conceded.
The squad simply has no tactical defending plan and our pressing is unbalanced, our counter pressing non existent, because we have no DLP like Alonso that outplays a line of defence by clever passes once we obtained the ball. Our problem in midfield is that we have no Kroos or Alonso anymore and a goalie that will cost us this season.

Hummels said that Carlo explicitly said not to press, but the squad did. Robben refusing to say anything about Carlo and his line up. Müller and Ribery doing what they want, Hoeness and Rummenigge arguing about politics, our medical support is below crap and on top we have a coach that simply failed in everything so far. Our system is not existent, individual class is what wins us games against weaker sides, many players became worse because of his non tactical approach.

So who is going to replace Carlo? Sagnol?
If we continue with the hilarious hirings of former players, I'd say it's time for Effenberg.

The strange thing about this is that James could play that role if he would play more central. But he keeps getting sent to the wing where the best thing he can do is to cross into the box. Which had 0 impact yesterday.

This hs been ancelotti‘s ‘match plan‘ since the beginning. Just look at the bremen game or hoffenheim.
When in doubt just cross the ball and hpe for the best
He is really just a coach with tactics from the last decade

I wonder how deep the wound is.

As many pointed it out, the Bayern players simply did not display the will you would expect from a a top-5 side in Europe. Are they fed up ? If so why did Real players work their asses off on Tuesday to score three goals in Dortmund ? Were they motivated by Zidane ? I wonder what makes the difference.

Things aren't that simple.
To make it easy, we lost our key player with Kroos and replaced him with an aged Alonso that worked for a while. We simply have Ribery and Robben over their prime. Ronaldo and Bale are at their peak right now with a midfield of top quality and many young players with quality in the squad. The whole mood is better at Real, from the board to the squad. Inside Bayern there are wars on CEO level, a squad that broke with their coach and bought together with no system in mind and worsened every player! Guardiola was able to conceal all of this with proper tactics but we still had no chance against quality sides.

We made many bad decisions after 2013 and we are now paying for this.

the mood is better at real because they're winning, have one of the best of all time and their coach is doing a much better job.

Right now is simply no reason to wait on Carlo. Get someone to patch this team and get them ready for the 2nd half of the season and see how they do. All I see is regression atm

The real anxiety begins when you see Bate Borisov score the 1:0 in the 15th minute and there’s no equalizer until the 80th minute because Wenger decided to bring on new players 2 minutes before that. ;_;

It's a decision that does not reflect well on upper management. I don't think the PSG match was a good reason to fire Ancelotti. If you make this decision, you make it before the season.
