Note also that according to reports going around the press Barcelona were threatened with a 6-point deduction if they cancelled the game.

Who would've predicted that the once exiled Oumar Niasse would now be Ronald Koeman's great hope for goals?

Everton look completely toothless at the moment.

I had a bad feeling that this is going to be the year where Juventus will lose the Scudetto grip. Our winning streak before is mostly masked by Dybala crazy streak of performance. And also, Buffon is really in his twilight of performance. I cant believe how he can fumbled that FK.T_T

But man Liverpool, same old story isn't it.

Yep. Harass Henderson so Liverpool have to build up much deeper and makes them less effective by the time they hit the third and also gives their opposition the chance of breaking on their backline. So many chances come for Liverpool's opposition due to mistakes made by Henderson or systematic targeting of him.

What’s up with Pjanic btw. How bad is his injury? I figure he would have been pretty key against Atalanta given his form this season.

I managed to watch a bit of the game today.

SIGH.

It's all so much the same as last year. 80% of the game is good, and very easy on the eyes.

I am beginning to wonder if Hendo is just incapable of playing where he's been asked to by Klopp.

Sturridge looks busted.

He is injured before the game against Olympiakos. It is going to take around 1 month before he can return.

There is a reason why our offensive play is kinda limited. And our source of creativity is only Bernadeschi as Dybala is having down time again.

Hoeneß statements to Ancelotti sacking:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=apeBiyIvjjY
- Sacking was based on results and the way football was played
- They still think of Carlo as great personality
- Differences between coach and some parts of the team for a longer period of time
- 5 starters on the bench, one not even in the squad was a no go
- As former footballers, Hoeneß, Rummenigge and Salihamidzic understood the feelings of Ribery, Robben, Coman, Hummels and Boateng - he named those 5 - a daily business was not possible after this
- There is no Plan B, usually Bayern sacks a coach when they have an alternative at hand, but this time the situation simply escalated after the PSG game
- They will use the international break to find the right guy for the job

I truly have no words for this shit show.

This is quite fucked up. What if the benching of those players was indeed justified?

Do they have in the contract that they have to be starters? (I'm starting to believe Muller has this)

Perez isn't shit, Atsu...I'm thinking he isn't great.

Perez has not stepped up at all. Too slow, not enough bite in his game. He has promise, but I just don't think he has the application to succeed.

Atsu I am still willing to give a chance. Although, I would rather see Aarons get a run in the team.

I'm sure Rafa would love to give Aarons a run if he wasn't made of paper. Every time he returns from injury he ends up going off injured. I really rate him but he's useless when injured all the time.

"Einige Spieler initiierten deshalb ein Zusatztraining, das Ancelotti jedoch verbot. Die Konsequenz: Diese Akteure veranstalteten es andernorts eigenständig."
^- Some players initiated extra training, which Ancelotti forbid. As a consequence, they did it somewhere else.

"Arjen Robben, der Musterprofi, wetterte, in der D-Jugend in Grünwald, wo sein Sohn aktiv ist, werde besser trainiert."
^- Arjen Robben said: his son's team (11-13 year olds) is receiving better training.

There is even more:
Carlo invited his favourite players (Thiago, martinez, süle, lewandowski, Rudy, Tolisso and Vidal) for dinner excluding all the others based on many incidences in the past and ignored the other stars for their actions against him and make those invited starters. James in great shape cant play because the board claimed Müller to play, they did that with Pep too. Carlo benched Ribery and Robben to sanction them and give Coman and James playtime to develop. They didnt accept. Same goes for Süle and Martinez. Both clearly our best defenders. Hummels and especially Boateng revolted pretty vocal while his performances were utter shit. Carlo wanted to make the transition but some older players used their power and Hoeneß sacked Carlo. Yesterday the boards favourites played and showed that they only care for themselves and are way over their prime and cant handle things without a capable coach.

Sounds to me like the board gets too much in the way of the coach, yet when it comes to buying proper players they become invisible.

Edit: stuff like this should be in a "How to run a football club: worst practices" book.

What a time.

Incredible how they didn't make a cut during the summer.
They had a much better choice to get a coach that they wanted during that time.

It's also hilarious how all the shit that went down in Dortmund is a non issue now and FC Hollywood is back in buisness baby.

Yep. It all makes sense now. Those hilarious amounts of muscular injuries are coming from those private training sessions with no supervision from fitness coaches. Robbens calf injury while playing golf... right.

Oh, and Sanches didnt deny to be part of the squad he simply got rejected by some players claiming he is not good enough.

While true, the way how parts of the team handle things in an anti social manner is just sad. I was very proud of Bayern doing things like a family but all the stories that emerge right now just make me angry. So many cunts.

Need to get rid of the old guard quickly as it seems they are poisoning the well. Probably don't know what they want either, they just know they have power.

I think Perez is short on goalscoring confidence but I do believe he has quality. Some of Atsu's touches though, my days.

I do like Aarons as well

I think the current focus is stability and midfield/defensive work and getting that to Rafa standard.

Wait...did Bayern sack ancelotti? Hahaha

Perfect time for an international break if you are a Bayern fan. If even a known locker room peacemaker like Ancelotti couldn't solve those issues, I don't know how anyone else can.

The stories floating around makes the Real Madrid Mou's locker room look like a kindergarden compared to the mess at Bayern.

To anyone looking from the outside it seems like an easy fix because some players have too much power and have to leave as soon as possible but as always there are too many layers to locker room issues maybe there are too much little groups inside the locker room (Pep's Spanish group perhaps?).

Sule and Martinez are not the best defenders, that is comical. Sule looked completely out of depth vs PSG, looked like a random Bundesliga scrub. Both were hot fucking garbage vs PSG when they started. Boateng has looked completely awful since his return. Rumors that even Lahm and Alonso went to management last year to talk about Carlo's tactics (or lack of), but nothing happened. Saying that, some starters are going to get benched if Tuchel comes into town. He doesn't give a fuck generally and is very hard headed. Muller also played exceptionally well under Pep other than a few patches of poor form, this seems like a stretch.

It's nice agenda, but lets not buy everything the storylines are stating because it's befitting of personal narratives. I hope when Tuchel comes, first thing he says is he is not starting a single player based on their name but capability.

.

I can't believe that such story is real and actually happening in a huge, established football club like Bayern.
Don't believe everything. It's easy to write part truth and part guesswork (more clicks) to even cynical. German papers do this every time FC Hollywood reawakens.

This is the first real time players have actively went out against a coach since Klinsmann, who was a tactical idiot and completely out of depth in Munich. There's a few things happening though, if I were to pretend to be God
- some players are clearly past their primes and can't accept to become squad players. Ribery is currently a living cancer to this locker room, and I hope he fucks off after the season. A petulant little child with an immeasurable ego that has one of the two most powerful people in Munich (Hoeness) as his bff wrapping him under his finger.
- I love Mueller but if he isn't good enough, he shouldn't start if he doesn't show his capabilities
- Carlo had awful tactics/relaxed environment. They went from one extreme in Pep who was meticulous about everything to .. passing around and fucking about. There's rumors Carlo got a huge offer from China and even let the Bayern FO know about it, which I doubt made anybody happy.

I never wish injuries on anybody, but I think it would have been better for Bayern if Ribery was out the entire season rather than 2-3 months. The dude is seriously just an awful black hole right now. He started last weekend and was clearly the worst player on the pitch. Literally did absolutely nothing. Even fellow Frenchy and interim coach Sagnol, I heard Ribery caused a rift ALREADY (my dad read about it).

Have you seen Boatengs recent performances and how he was the one who let us concede many goals? Hummels had some serious blackouts (like against Hoffenheim), his passes to open the game mostly ended in counter attacks... At least Süle and Martinez were able to perform.... And by that I mean attitude and the will to fight for the kit they wear and not for some twitter retweets or Jay-Z friendzone crap.

Müller played well once Götze was relegated to a bench player and Guardiola playing 4-4-2 with 10k crosses a game like Germany in 1990. Remember all the media buff when Pep benched Müller in 2014 and subbed him out in many games? The last year under Pep was when Thomas Müller fell off the cliff, when Costa refused to play crosses and Coman injured, the crosses stopped, Thiago promoted to CAM and Robben and Ribery playing for themselves but not for Müller anymore. The system broke because players refused to play their roles. Since then he failed under Pep, Löw and Ancelotti. There was a break inside the team even in 2015/16 that Pep masked with a system that every player could play without having the individual class. It got even worse under Ancelotti because Müller now had to play in a system that only lives of the class of each player being better than the opposition.

Most of the stories are legit though. I work for the media and know the sources.

He failed under Pep.. dude it was the last 2 months of the season and scored 36 goals as a second option where it's never happened in the history of the club before. Stop with this faux pas narrative. Mueller was great overall under Pep. You can try to maginify patches of poor form which every single player deals with unless you're Ronaldo or Messi, but it doesn't change reality. He sucked under Carlo and sucked in the Euros, he's been great under Loew after the tournament which you conveniently forget. And letting Mueller only work because of the system is kinda silly, as if he didn't work under LvG, both World Cups under Loew and Jupp. Your distaste for Mueller is amusing, but he is an incredibly frustrating player when he's not in form. I think part of his regression with Bayern is the regression of Bayern wingers. He operates in space better than any player not named Ronaldo, and Robbery demand no real attention anymore which makes his specialty a lot more difficult.

I'm with you on Boateng, but he's had two really long and bad injuries. So I'm going to wait maybe until January. He can come back. If this is his form, he's done though. And my point still stands. Sule looked like a Bundesliga scrub and Martinez was terrible. Hummels has been dodgy and made silly mistakes this season, but it's laughable to think those two are better than him (they're not even close, period). However, I don't have a problem with a player getting benched in a big game to get his shit together. I don't give a fuck about "giving your all" if it's not enough, otherwise Bayern can sign some Bundesliga scrubs that will give their all and do nothing.

I do agree the team isn't playing as a team overall and can play much better and that is part of the reason. You can't start players who are not good enough yet though. I don't know what system Carlo actually plays since it's a disjointed tactical mess and everything points to him not giving much of a fuck and strolling through.

Nice that you work for the media. Are you living in Munich atm?

The truth is this team needs a coach with balls to join them. Which gets me a bit more into Tuchel's appointment than before, even though I question his tactics a ton :S

I am sure that Hoeneß and Rummenigge are questioning themselves right now, after the media building the story of "Bayern in ruins".

Whatever happened to Müller, right now he should not be starter. We lose any kind of control in the last third because of his inability to hold the ball alone.

Carlo did what he did since he is coach: Individual class outmuscles the opposition. He mostly had some of the best players of their generation and used them properly for a season though. PSG was not the big club then, Madrid was a wreck after Mou, Chelsea had real cunts that played for him for one season. Bayern is a team in transition, in their understanding a top 3 club and came from Jupp and Peps possession ultra pressing vertical football. The rest is known.

The cunts at Bayern were always like that. I remember Hoeneß sacking Heynckes in 1991 for similar reasons and presented the failure of a coach: Sören Lerby. Uli regrets this until today but obviously didn't learn. Look at the Klinsmann disaster after Hitzfeld. I admire their risk but even after 8 weeks we all knew where the journey would end.

I just pray that after all this they install a guy like Tuchel or Nagelsmann and let them do the transition. And might rethink their stance towards worldclass players and price.

And yes, I live in Munich.
