Honestly not going into this match at Anfield expecting anything. Everyone knows Liverpool turn up for the bigger games and Its easily the biggest test for United so far. Mane being out helps us a lot I think, but there's still goals in whatever front 3 Kloppo puts out.
If Mou can keep them quiet though, I can see the United front line punishing mistakes.

It'll blatantly be the usual Mourinho tactic of coming to Anfield and breaking up play whenever possible and time wasting whenever possible. I'd be very surprised if he comes out and attacks like a lot of the Utd fans I know are expecting. That would actually work in our favour cos we can kill anyone on the transition, especially at Anfield. I'm not really expecting anything from the game cos Mane is out and Coutinho and Firmino will probs be knackered from the travelling.

Agree with that. I have more respect for the way Pep etc coach their teams (focusing on how the opposition will cope with their side rather than how to cope with the opposition) but ultimately it is the results that matter. And say what you want about him, but Mourinho gets results.
Sure, I'd love to win playing like Barca/Bayern did under Pep. But first I'd like to win. If that means parking the bus at Anfield, Stamford Bridge, Wembley, Emirates and the Emptihad and grinding out 1-1 draws and then beating everyone else 4-0, I'll take it. You don;t win this championship by beating 3 or 4 teams.
Arsenal are the allegory to that. Play pretty all you want but winning is what matters. Don't complain about how they played football wrong, don't complain that they were hard on you or whatever. Get out there and do it. Win.
Also of note, 48% of Uniteds goals this season have been in the last 15 mins.
Also, watching Neville and Carra sit on a sofa and watching old replays of these games is great. If you can watch the first episode of Nevills Soccerbox I recommend. This versions got a dumb blue filter over the action.

I wouldn't doubt Mou going with Herrera, Matic and Carrick in a midfield three, but I think he'll start with just Herrera and Matic and depending on the game bring on Carrick. Darmain started the Stoke game so I could see him being picked again at LB though Young has been playing well.
