It shouldn't be a surprise, even if players don't want to admit to it. Denmark - Sweden 2-2 match to kick out Italy was pretty funny as well.

England have got some really, really good young players coming through at the moment. It's a shame we'll probably England them up and ruin their careers.

Thank god that Sancho has gone to Germany, and to Dortmund at that, hopefully it'll aid his development and he'll actually get a chance to play senior football.

Phil Foden is another one who looks absolutely unbelievable, but I'm worried about him at City. Pep seems to really like him, and he's been in the senior squad a handful of times, but it's just so hard for a young player to force their way into a Premier League team at the moment no matter the side. Spurs are the only team who've really managed to properly integrate youth into the starting XI, but even then two of the main ones, Alli and Dier, didn't come through the Spurs academy. Everton are doing a pretty decent job as well, but Koeman seems inconsistent with the game time he allows those players like Calvert-Lewin, Lookman, Davies and Holgate.

I actually have a bit of hope for the City youth. When Sancho was talking about going he had been linked with Arsenal and Tottenham but it was the City staff that got him to Dortmund instead. If they can also get a few more to clubs of a similar quality across the continent then brighter days lie ahead. Foden is the only proper creative English midfielder I have seen in my lifetime so really hope he comes good. Getting past KDB and the Silva's isn't going to be easy for him and Diaz is his direct rival trying to beat him to the punch so he has the right competitive environment and quality of player to learn from.

I'm guessing by peeps refusal to explain the UEFA nations league to me, nobody else understands it either! X'D

It's a competition starting next September that will largely replace INTL friendlies. And should mean teams play in mini leagues against opposition closer to themselves. Look up the groups to see what I mean.

Theres like 4 spots for the Euros up for grabs too. So teams like Azerbaijan or whoever will actually have a chance of qualifying as they'll play teams similar to them.

Overall it seems pretty positive, but will surely be some kinks to iron out.

I think it could benefit England as we'll play games against Spain and Germany etc rather than 10 carpenters and a cabby. In a game that semi semi means something. Could get better experience for the real tournaments from it.

So the Arse might sell Alexis and Ozil in January, per Wenger.

He also said contract talks with Ozil were progressing positively.

but why? It seems to replace friendlies from what I read, there will still be euro and world cup qualifiers. Guess early qualification would be nice, but would a team not worry missing the qualifiers might break up squad cohesion?

Strachan out, then. Would anyone else be able to do a better job with what we have?
It's crazy that there are some players coming through that weren't alive the last time Scotland were in a tournament.

Given Strachan's own comments, maybe we should go for someone tall, or big if you will.

Therefore I present to you the clearly best option:

For real though, I have no idea who we go for.

Juventus is targetting SMS from Lazio... and it is priced probably 80 million...... guess next year Dybala or Sandro is going to move away huh.

Not so sure it's happening tho

Juventus finance is not managable each year.

We literally need to reach Quarter Final in UCL every year for the booking to stay even.

Also, Howedes, Douglas Costa also still need to be paid if we are going to make them our players next season.

I am just soo used to a big player leaving Juventus every single year.

I was referring to what savic's agent said. He said that he wasn't going to juventus. But then again can't believe a word anyone player, agent or manager says these days so maybe. I just don't see the move happening for now

I just checked some Italian paper and they mentioned Savic brother Vanja mentioned that Savic wanted to move to Juventus. But the problek would be lotito lol. He wont allow us to get Savic for cheap at all.

I can't see us getting the win tomorrow. United will love our defense and we'll hate theirs.

But a Mou meltdown would be glorious so I hope the team make a good go of it.

I don't know. I'm nervous as shit about our defence but I'm hoping we step up since it's a big team. Also hoping that utd's injuries screw them somehow.

I'm gonna be devastated tomorrow aren't I.

Why would you hate United defense? They are playing with Ashley Young as left back and you can and should exploit that major weakness with Salah quite easily. Even Mahrez on bad form created havok against that defense.

Quite honestly I don't see why people are scared of United at all. They aren't Man City by any stretch of the imagination, their offense is predictable as shit (cross, cross, cross) and defense leaks anytime someone has the guts to play attacking football against them. Also Mourinho will probably park the bus which makes them even more harmless.
