Football Thread 2017/18 |OT2| Fractured but Ox

Man that was a long 45 minutes, impressed to see Town are still trying to go for it but it's been the story all game. Press high, get caught on the counter. Lowe's having a bit of a mare today.

As they've now lost at home to Spurs, I look forward to the media relentlessly attacking Huddersfield and insisting that they have a young Championship-level squad which will get found out at this level.

Me too. The fairy tale nonsense got boring really quick.

Syder thanks for reminding me to put Kane as captain

.

Gonna have to triple captain him vs Palace.

Probably getting the day off. It's palace.

Mou said yesterday he can't give him time off till Ibra is back. The only time he's not played the whole game so far is in the EFL where he didn't play at all.

Do hope he's not injured, not that seeing Martial and Rashford on at the same time will upset me too much.

Dejan Lovren has revealed that he’s taking up to five painkillers before each Liverpool game in order to cope with his injury woes.

The Croatian centre-back says he’s had problems with his “whole body” in recent weeks with back and Achilles problems forcing him to miss training.

Lovren sat out the Premier League matches against Manchester City and Burnley but took tablets to enable him to play against Leicester last weekend and in the midweek Champions League clash with Spartak Moscow.

“I have problems with my whole body for the last two weeks, my back and now I have hurt my Achilles tendon,” he told Sportske Novosti.

“I am taking pills so I can play, five before every game.

“I play but I cannot train at all. That’s why I skipped matches against Manchester City and Burnley.”

That doesn't sound good. Same thing happened to Agger which pretty much ended his career early.

United goal is the kind of goal the AI scores most often against me in FIFA. Ball finds its way to an attacker in my box, no defender close enough, perfect shot and goal and I'm cursing the too perfect AI. I guess it's actually quite realistic.
