You're like the opposite of Soi-Fong. You hate all our players. Get out.

I don't hate De Gea, I just don't think he's right for us, and that we massively over-paid which doesn't help either.

You can't say Roma didn't get Stekelenburg for a steal at €6m, would've been an immense bargain for a team like United never mind them and from what I gather he's done pretty well there.

I've noticed this too.

I don't know how you can say we massively overpaid. We paid for potential, not the finished article. To expect him to live up to his price tag at this point in time is foolish. And he's been pretty good this year. He was good in the 2nd half of last season too.

I'd be disappointed if we sold DDG. I think he'll be brilliant one day.

At the same time, I can understand why United would want rid of him. I wouldn't agree with those reasons but I could at least understand them.

But please God. No Valdes.

Part of me thinks we'll sign him because he'd only have 12 months left on his contract and would be cheap.

Daily Mail are running with DDG to be sold in the summer.

Saying his problems are due to the British game and that he'd be much better suited to a continental side.

They're also saying that we're looking at Valdes.

There's too many articles for this to be nonsense now.

:lol

You guys will give Barca even more praise when you realise how hard it is to win everything with Valdes.

Kidding, Valdes ain't that bad but there are definitely better keepers out there at many many big clubs.

Talking about footballers with Biblical names it is prophicised that Victor Moses will one day lead Footballers from the slavery that is modern day contracts. No longer will a player be held at a club he doesn't want to play for.
Tevez will be free from his Manchester shackles to go forth and eat huge steaks in nice restaurants in hot climates, Arsenal players will flee to the 5 or 6 clubs that win big trophies in Europe with no fear of guilt or remorse and Collocini will go and seek forgiveness from his wife in Argentina and escape the memories of that geordie slag he got up the duff after drinking too much Brown Ale in Gateshead.
Hey guys I think BBB is the Junior with 5* potential.

Make this kid a special training schedule.

If we lose De Gea I'll be absolutely gutted.

Yeah I'll be pretty pissed. I've stuck by him and continue to do so.... I'm positive he'll be a top keeper at some point, even if it isn't at United and I'd want to be reciprocated with a lot of money when he does leave.

You suggested Stekelenburg but he wouldn't come cheap either.

I dislike the fact that we're already talking like DDG is gone.

True, but I'm still just bitter we didn't get him first time around. Still, Roma aren't exactly having the best time of it so it could be a possibility.

I've always had a love for Akinfeev but he'd never leave CSKA.

Selling De Gea would be a mistake. He's obviously made a few errors, but the idea of him as this mistake prone keeper seems to have been highly exaggerated. I think he'll end up as one of the better keepers around in the next few years.

Meh.

We'll see what happens in the summer.

If DDG improves his performance from now until then, we might see a change of heart at United.

I'm not going to give these stories much more thought until then.

Coppa Italia starting XI vs. Lazio:

Storari; Bonucci, Marrone, Barzagli; Peluso, Marchisio, Pogba, Padoin, Isla; Giaccherini, Matri.

God help us.

And I'm not too bothered about Zaha.

If he was cheaper then I'd be more enthusiastic about the deal.

I'd rather we signed someone who is closer to the finished article rather than a player with potential.

Hasn't Stekelenburg been doing shitty? Or at least not what was expected of him? Same with Reina. The media just hates de Gea.

I dunno ask kharma. They're practically BFF's it sounds like.

I'm sure someone who watches Serie A properly would be able to say (Yurt?) but from what I gathered the whole team hasn't been playing that well and he's had to save their arses a good few times.

And Viva, HE WAS ONLY €6 MILLION ;_;

De Gea could well turn it around by the end of the season, what would help is a steady defence that isn't always changing.

Who is there we could realistically buy?

I would rather we sign someone like James, someone with genuine top level talent.

We've gone from Hazard > Moura > Zaha.

Zahallah better be right. Or maybe were just saving that money for a rainy day. Lol.

Obertan was also criticised for running around like a headless chicken when he was a kid. Unfortunatly he misunderstood this and instead of honing his football skills he focused all his attention on making his head more noticeable

Dude, didn't anyone tell you it is wrong to make fun of the disabled?

Well he has been injured and suspend a few times this season, and Goicoechea has take his spot

I'd rather have James too.

But we shouldn't look too much into the downgrade of players from Hazard to Zaha. I think we'd have been in for Zaha anyway. Especially when you consider Valencia and Young being out of form and Nani a likely candidate to be sold.

And Porto could ust be asking for more than we're willing to shell out

That's happened plenty of times before.

Yeah Rodriguez I'd love to see at United, wonder if they'd take Nani plus £15m.

Man United's front 6 if they actually got the players they've been after the last few years:

-------Modrić--Carrick-------
Lucas-----Hazard-----Nasri
-----------Van Persie---------

1 for 5 ain't bad I guess.
