Nani + 65m.
50m + Bebe on loan for a season.

Fixed it for both of you.
Poor Darren. Used to be a deadly striker and now he doesn't even get a game these days.

:lol

All he needs now is the #7 united Shirt.

How the fuck do I get this Triad score up. I'm fine with the cop score (9) because of the drug busts, but I'm still only level 5 for Triad
Nick cars (there's that one guy on your contacts list) and steal those trucks that are driving around.

Be more awesome in story missions perhaps? It was the other away around for me. My triad score was way higher than cop.

Just caught up with the thread. And since it can't be mentioned enough, jesus christ, Meier had an absolute shocker.

I knew we were in bizarro world today when I saw Hulk bang in 3 goals.

Was it when he went on that whole tangent of if player is younger then he is automatically better?
.

He blamed it on American sports culture even though that's not true at all. They might be more valuable (in terms of trades, signing, etc...) because he will be the face of the franchise for years to come, but that has nothing to do with evaluating a player in the present.

Maybe it's a cultural thing. A younger player in American sports will always, always be considered better than an older one if he's at the older guys level. Every time.

But it's irrelevant anyway since Bale has been better than every other player in the PL this season AND is younger than the other top players.

Her I do know. That's one of the Davalos twins. "Twins you say?" "Yes, fine sir. Indeed. That means that there are two of those godly creatures walking this earth."

To think I liked you...
I still <3 you. I just want Fiore to be in the UCL!

Timerda is a Torino fan you know. Hard to believe when he only posts about PSG but it's true.
Stfu cabbage patch!

Meier must've been drunk this morning because for saying Bale is better than Messi is lol worthy.

Ronaldo too, as you all know I'm not the biggest Ronaldo supporter but even he is a better and more consistent player right now.

In a few years/seasons that could change, but to say Bale is better than Ronaldo, let alone Messi, is definitely drunk mode.

Those 2 have been dominating constantly for how long, 7 seasons? The age thing is pretty lame too, Bale turns 24 in a month. When Messi was 24 people were having fist fights to decide whether or not he was better than Pele and Maradona :lol.

Tbh I think he is already better than both of those.

If Bale was at Barcelona, he would flop.

Bale is 23 already? For some reason, I thought he was a year or two younger. When Ronaldo was 23 he had his 42 goal (and CL winning, let's not forget) season... Bale's definitely a tier below Ronaldo then, to say nothing of now.

Kaka is 31 already and I feel old as fuck

Depends. If he plays Tello's position he would struggle. If he replaced Messi he wouldn't get 50, that's for sure.

Tbh I don't think he can play with a slow build up team like Barcelona.

I feel that he will flourish in Ancelotti's Madrid and Man Utd. Where they utilize fast wingers on the counter attack and plus he can cut into the middle from the flank. Where he can score those amazing goals like today.

I said he's the best player in the world right now. In 2013, Messi has 23 goals for Barca and Bale has 15 for Spurs. Bale is doing it on his own while Messi is surrounded by world class players at every position. Of those 15 goals he's scored, 7 (!) have been game winners. For comparison, Messi has 6 game winners in 2013.

There is absolutely no reason to believe Bale couldn't do as well as Messi or Ronaldo if he were playing for their respective teams.

Yes there is because no one in a long time has produced the numbers Ronaldo and Messi currently and consistently do. He's not more impressive than 2008 Ronaldo, why would he be at their level now?

If Messi has proven one thing, it's that scoring tap-ins must be pretty fucking hard if only he can do it for Barcelona.

I think you are really underselling the amount of work Messi and Ronaldo do for their teams. How much work they do to create their own goals. Didn't you imply messi scores mostly tap ins?

With tap ins its his awareness to be in the right place at the right time. Its ALWAYS him. never iniesta/tello/pedro/villa. But loads of Messi's goals this season have been just outside of the box on his left foot.

Ronaldo was playing with Carlos Tevez and Wayne Rooney as his attacking partners. Come on. If/when Bale joins a team with the level of talent of Ronaldo and Messi, he'd score more goals. It's inevitable.

Because of incompetence by the Spurs forwards, Bale's goals are turning out to be much needed match winners. Regardless of what your name is or what you team you play for, if you're scoring the winners you're going to be classed as "one of the best" in your league.

The narrative of "worlds best" surrounding Bale however precedes this remarkable season. On top of his excellent form, and stunning goals domestically, it was when he made his European debut that this talk all began. Case in point; his San Siro performance drew mass plaudits from the English media. It was at this point where you had pundits and fans becoming particularly vocal that not only was he was amongst the world's best, but he was the greatest; ahead of Messi and Ronaldo.

His form in contrast then dipped. Spurs went out of the Champions League and ultimately failed to qualify for it again.

Although I personally feel Messi is the best ability-wise, there is certainly a case that can be made for Bale to be the current "best" not only in merit of his fantastic ability and great goals but also the sheer impact he is having for his club. In the same manner, an argument could have been made for Falcao a few months ago.

When he does eventually join a team that won't see his goals be winners as frequently as they are now, however, his profile will soften as his impact drops.

But whilst we're on this topic:

Ronaldinho > Messi > Ronaldo > Zidane > Rosicky > Everyone else

You make it sound like Rooney and Tevez didn't bother scoring goals themselves. It works both ways. Bale is the focal point of the Spurs attack right now because all their other striking options are terrible; he wouldn't get nearly as many chances to shoot if they had a striker who wasn't complete shit to partner him with.

If sticking a bunch of world class strikers on a team together resulted in them doubling their goal tally, Aguero would've scored more than 11 league goals by now.

Possibly. But would he be scoring a consistent 50+ goals per season like they do? I don't think so. Ronaldo and Messi have done this for 3 straight years now.
