But Messi was doing it at 21-22. Therefore because he was younger he is the bigger prospect and is better.
When Messi was 21 or 22, he was a better player, that's true. He probably still is, but it's not nearly as far apart as you guys make it out to be especially not in this calendar year.

Fuck. We were good then. These four were better than the Invincible midfield imo. I truly believe had we kept that midfield together we'd have won the league by now.
I disagree, Sure Ronaldo lost/does not do most of the tricks any more but that is because he changed into a different much more powerful player. Bale is kind of like that. Given the right position with the ball any team is fucked. I don't think Ronaldo has gotten any worse, infact I think he has gotten a lot better. This year in particular he has picked up his game considerably. He is also stupidly fast.

Ronaldo might revert back to his previous style of playing once he gets older and starts losing the speed he has. But he is such a beast and takes such care his body (no drinking or smoking for example) that I feel like I'll he'll keep his athleticism longer than a lot of players. We'll see.

Pretty true. He gets the ball less than he used to and his job is more to wait for it, rather than move and get it to find his way through. Still, he has improved from then even though he changed his style.

I still think Ronaldo could do a lot of that stuff. That's one of the reason's why I'd like to see him come back to United. SAF always involved him more in the general play. Mourinho uses him purely as a finisher.

Ferguson put him in the lab and turned him into a power striker basically. He mostly just outruns, blasts, and finishes these days.
His ball control and dribbling skills were sacrificed.

I still can't believe that guy is claiming Bale to be better than Messi and Christiano, clearly he's good and likely to get better but as of now he is decidedly below those two his recent run of form is making people overrate him too much.
Yup, I don't mind his attitude on the pitch and during press conferences at all. What bothered me a bit this season was his reaction after the loss in the DFB Pokal which he probably could / should have handled better, as well as his handling of the 12:12 protests which felt rude to me.
In the end though, I definitely prefer a coach who voices his opinions over someone who gives the media nothing but the answers they expect and shows no emotions on the pitch at all.
