Fair enough result, I guess - we were far away the better side in the 2nd half, but 99 times out of 100 that Cisse goal in the 1st would have been given. Oh, and Phil Dowd's a massive cunt.
 
Spurs really piss away all my good will towards them with performances like this. For every glorious win against City or United, there are always two goalless home draws against the likes of fucking Stoke.

I know Southampton are good for it though.

Nothing really at stake, I sort of expect a lazy match... or a B team to take it way seriously.

Wigan, fuck yes as well. Win the game in hand and Norwich are in trouble. Sunderland beat Stoke on Monday and they're in trouble still as well. Come on.

I already told you, he has a use to us; he's better than Carlton Cole - and until we get the sort of striker that's visibly superior to both of them, Carroll will still have a use to us. Whether or not that's worth whatever the bin dippers want for him is another matter altogether.

Also, I think I've seen almost every team in the league described as awful by someone here at one point or another this season. Everyone's awful! Where does it end? Top 4, then awful all the way down?

Top 4 are awful too. Other than United, Swansea and probably West Brom, no-one has really had a great season.

Maybe it's just that I remember so vividly our previous season in the Championship, or that year we had to endure whatever the fuck Avram Grant thought passed for football, but there really aren't a lot of teams in the top league of English football who I'd describe as truly awful.

QPR and Reading are bad, bad teams. Norwich, Stoke and Sunderland are turgid for the most part. Newcastle have been pretty awful this year.

Apart from that, its alright.
