Why?

Not like he could play CL for anyone else?

Because the only reason they'd really have to keep him is that he could help them in the CL. Any other top club who might want to buy him would be willing to have him sit on the bench (a la Balotelli at Milan last season) for the rest of the competition. It of course all relies on whether or not this Bayern not official thing is just a smokescreen.

Lol Southampton nearly scored a goal similar to that one in the CL tonight. Mannone smashed it into Lallana, went a yard or two wide.

How about the Bundesliga? Also as said before it's not just up to Dortmund. :p

Having a world class striker wouldn't hurt when it comes to winning the league.

They're a point behind Bayern in the league, he's scoring goals to keep them in the title race. Why would Dortmund sell him unless they got a big bid?

And then why would anybody bid more than a few million when he's free in 6 months?

Makes no sense any way you look at it.

I still remember that days before Bayern announced Pep as Jupp's successor English media was speculating/claiming he was coming to EPL. Lol.

Don't really have any reason to defend English media but these two really aren't even close to being comparable...
